President Biden said that Georgia needs to “smarten up” to avoid businesses leaving the state over its new voting legislation.
“It is reassuring to see that for-profit operations and businesses are speaking up about how these new Jim Crow laws that are just antithetical to who we are,” the president told reporters Tuesday.
He said he supports however businesses decide to protest the law. “I think it’s a very tough decision for a corporation to make or group to make, I respect them when they make that judgment, I support whatever judgment they make. The best way to deal with this is for Georgia and other states to smarten up. Stop it, stop it,” he said.
Last week Biden said the following: “I think today’s professional athletes are acting incredibly responsibly. I would strongly support them doing that,” Biden told ESPN last week. “People look to them. They’re leaders. The very people who are victimized the most are the leaders in these various sports.”
And just last week even the liberal Washington Post called Biden out for lying about Georgia’s new election law giving him ‘Four Pinocchios’ but he continues to call it a “Jim Crow” law a week later.

President Joe Crow knows a lot about Jim Crow. He worked with Segregationist Democrats in the 1970s to pass legislation and even told his voting base he opposed school bussing.
Now I am convinced, Biden has 0% brain function.

Most dims that run around using the expression “Jim Crow” have no idea that it was dims that instituted these laws. It is a dog whistle term.

I think Commie Joe Biden has turned into a nasty, pushy, bullying, jerk. In a fashion similar to what the democRATS called President Trump I am in favor of giving the fraudulent current resident of the White House an appropriate new moniker. My first thought is “SMD” (Senile Man Dumb).

I think it’s really unprecedented for a US President to attack a US state this way.
Article 1, Section 8, Clause 3, of the Constitution empowers Congress “to regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among several States, and with the Indian Tribes.” The term commerce as used in the Constitution means business or commercial exchanges in any and all of its forms between citizens of different states, including purely social communications between citizens of different states by telegraph, telephone, or radio, and the mere passage of persons from one state to another for either business or pleasure.
The act of removing the commerce of the all star game for the local area which has been guestimated as a $33M loss of revenue by MLB is bad enough. To do it for political purposes that don’t exist is even worse. And for the Biden administration to support this action as it is a state reaction to a lie is even worse than that as it falls under a failure of the administration concerning intrastate commerce and the 10th amendment.
But I’m not seeing the GOP tasking a stand and calling them on this so if a tree falls in the forest.......
