The suspect was shot by police after the incident.
Agunman is dead, leaving two people in critical condition after a shooting Tuesday outside of Fort Detrick, Maryland.
After the shooting, the suspect then fled to a nearby military base, Fort Detrick, where he was shot by police who had followed him, according to the Associated Press.
Reports say the suspect was a navy medic.
Frederick Police Chief Jason Lando said the shooting took place at Riverside Tech Park in Frederick, although it is unclear if the shooting happened inside or right outside the park.
"We have two different scenes. All I can tell you is that we have confirmed there is only one shooter. The public is no longer at risk. Everyone is safe," Lando said.
The Pentagon has not released any details about the incident other than there was an "active shooting incident."
Its a serious charge, and I suspect you are correct, given how most of these events unfold. Its just good to have facts so that in the cases where its not as we suspect, we are not jumping to conclusions the way the left does (ie the ‘white man with a gun’ in Boulder). Stay safe, FRiend.
