Civil rights leader the Reverend Jesse Jackson has today weighed into the UK's debate on race, by saying that Britain is the 'mother of racism'.
The influential American, 79, said Britain must face up to its role in slavery, as he flatly rejected the findings of the recent report into race and racism in the UK.

IIRC this may be the first time Jesse Jackass tries shaking down an entire country/government. Usually he's shaking down radio stations (I worked at one he did that to) car makers, etc.. This is a first.
I’m old enough to remember when the English and the Europeans chided us on race relations—of course back then they had pretty much homogeneous populations. Now that they’ve gotten the ‘blessings of diversity’ they’re not so loud about it.

Britain ended the slave trade in 1807. It has been banned for more years than it even existed.
