A Rasmussen poll has revealed that almost half of Americans support the introduction of vaccine passports in order to get “back to normal.”
The findings were released over the Easter period, and noted that 44% of Americans said that a government run system requiring proof of vaccination is a “good idea.”
Fewer, 41%, said they think vaccine passports are a bad idea.
While some described the 44% figure as “weak,” others pointed out it is still far too high:
The poll dovetails with similar findings in the UK, where a majority of 62% said they would support the mandating of vaccine passports to visit pubs or restaurants, while only 22% opposed the idea.
An even higher figure, 78% said they would mandate the vaccine passport for international travel, while 61% said it should be required to attend sports games and 58% said it should be mandated for public transport.
The findings in the U.S. come as it was confirmed that the Biden regime is working with major corporations to develop a country-wide vaccine passport, and after New York has begun the rollout of its own vaccine passport system.
In addition, the FBI is warning people against fake vaccine passports or COVID-19 vaccination cards.
As National File reported, the Biden administration is working with major corporations to develop a vaccine passport system that would require Americans to take one of the controversial vaccines and receive a vaccine passport to engage in commerce.
The passport system is also being pushed by the mainstream media, with the likes of the L.A. Times declaring that vaccine passports are a “good idea” because they will help the Biden administration “break the resistance down.”
Some lawmakers have vowed to resist the introduction of vaccine passports, including Florida Governor Ron DeSantis who has signed an executive order banning them in the state, and revealed that he is working with the Florida legislature to institute a permanent ban.
Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has claimed that the Biden administration aims to force all Americans to have Covid-19 vaccine passports, comparing it to the “mark of the beast” prophesied in the Bible.
The problem with democracy is that not only can the mob vote themselves to be slaves, but they can vote you into slavery along with them.
Perhaps tattoos would be a better idea. Everyone knows that minorities are to stupid to get an ID or passport.
How about 44% of the 1000 people polled think this is a good idea.
Also, do the poll in all 50 states and in different areas. The sheep that live in the cities, Blue States and liberal pockets are probably more than ok with this. But they’re also the ones that would have no problem getting on a cattle car if they were promised free wifi, lattes, craft beer and “security”.
While others, like most of the folks on here, ain’t getting on any bus. Or at least I’d like to hope they wouldn’t.
I see and hear it around me. The willingness of citizens to submit is the scariest thing I’ve ever witnessed.
So many sheep in this world and these pollsters know whom to call to get the answers they want.
I’m not on board.
It is scary, but I’m sure many are feeling pressure by employers to get them - or need to travel and are afraid they can’t without them.
Not for me, though if I’m forced to do it to keep my job I can’t see a way out; I have a family to feed.
As long as people get their news from a local reporter who is standing by herself on an empty sidewalk but wearing a mask on television, the message that your average American gets is one of fear. And to make The Mask go away, a citizenry short on facts but long on emotion will gladly take a experimental vaccine that's been on the market for less than a year, the long-term consequences be damned.
Lots of people are still scared shiteless of COVID and they watch all the alarming fake news stories about it. The worst is David Muir on ABC always beginning his broadcasts breathlessly announcing “an increase in COVID deaths!” or some such malarkey. (I don’t watch him but I get a glimpse of his shtick at the end of the Jeopardy episodes we DVR).
“It is scary, but I’m sure many are feeling pressure by employers to get them - or need to travel and are afraid they can’t without them.”
Oh, I get it. I’ve been forced to take the flu shot for years. If something you want or need to do requires vaccination, you have little choice.
I am talking about the people who are gleeful about getting the vaccination. The people putting their vaccination cards on social media. The people who act like the vaccine is protecting them from certain death. It’s collective insanity.
Well lets face it, a lot of people no longer can think for themselves and are not too bright. The last election pretty well has proven this point. I do believe that the US has seen the best of days, never to return.
re: “ So 44% of America has bought into tyrannical fascism. Got it. “
Mostly Karens and soy boyz, I would wager (well, we have seen the POLLS already, so we know.)
I think most of us here would agree that anyone who would take an experimental vaccine because it might be required to do something is really too stupid a person to merit any mention in a post.
It is insane; it is no secret you must still wear a mask, you may still contract the virus (just lessen the symptoms), and you can still spread the virus - and the vaccine may only last a few months.
I guess with so many people out of work or underemployed, it gives some people a sense that they are doing “something”...
Like lemmings, they flee before the spirit of death, its repetitive drumbeat of 'doom! doom! doom! driving them into the holding pens of slavery.
About the same number of democrats.
I have no plans to get a vaccine. If I’m not allowed to do my job without one (no “might be” involved) I’d be between a rock and a hard place.
BTW, I’m in an area with some of the highest death rates (northeastern NJ) and I still see no point in the vaccine.
RE: About the same number of democrats.
Remember the 47%? That number in the poll is close to 47%.
No kidding.
