At this point in his life and post-basketball career, Charles is just about immune.

Charles is a unique mix on things. Its nice when he lines up with what we believe and know to be true, but you can’t guarantee he will to any certain degree.

He won't be cancelled but his statement will be forgotten in no time. Unless some brave Republican picks up the ball and runs with it.

HA! Brave Republican. Sometimes I say the craziest things.

On the other hand, all it will take for Barkley to walk it back is for some Republican to agree with him.

If President Dr. Trump comes and gives Barkley kudos for telling the truth, he will disavow himself.

Probably not. Why hasn’t Howard Stern been cancelled? How about all the nice, friendly rappers like Ice Cube and Snoop Dog who have made millions glorifying violence and degrading women????

Pithy and clear as a bell. He should keep talking.

Remember when Barkley used to call into Rush Limbaugh, and talk about running for (Republican) governor (Alabama...he played college basketball at Auburn)?

Add Barkley to others such as Thomas Sowell, Candice Owens, Ben Carson, Larry Elder...

The black leaders that can move their culture from violence, victimhood, vunnables to functioning members of society.

This hood rat, gangsta, thump whitey mentality is so counter productive to America as a whole.

Barkley did NOT tell the truth about race. He claimed that BOTH parties try to divide people by race, whereas it is almost always the Democrats who are doing it.

And that is why so many love the guy.

When Vick through it all away, Barkley was one of the few that was brutally honest about it and called it like it was.

He’s already done it. He’s a straight up clown who thinks his money and perceived fame allow him a soapbox. Problem is, there are so many people in this country that out these people on a pedestal for absolutely no reason.

I hope so. For I think he would pick a side and I think he’d be on our side. He would be what one would call a Center-Right kind of person.

Black culture will never change in any meaningful amount or manner.

When Stern was on public radio in NY the “cancel culture mob” had not yet been formed. Folks had thick skin. He seemed kind of Right leaning and was funny.

He went to satellite radio where he didn’t have a filter and then to that ridiculous tv show. And then started going way Left.

He doesn’t like being second fiddle. One of the reasons he let the world know how much he disliked Rush Limbaugh.

"I truly believe that if the pandemic lockdowns in California had not been so extended, the blowback against Gavin Newsom and other Democrats would have happened sooner and with at least the amount of passion we currently see, because the full effects of the anti-freelancing AB5 law would have been apparent much earlier (through closures of community orchestras/theaters, sports camps, tutoring, entertainment, and hospitality venues)."

"Republicans don’t get a pass on this. Over the last decade, Republicans have also had the opportunity to enact their own legislative agenda"

That's the dumbest segue of the fresh week. It reads like Republicans have any power in Kali. Nice one, dud. You get the snarky gif, and the girl who posted it won't get the joke, so I get a double win.

The first time that I ever saw Barkley play I was in awe. I loved his style and his brutish approach to the game.

Barkley might have played in the NFL.

In the very few times I tried to talk about politics with my black co worker, he was VERY cagey.

I couldn’t tell if he was confused or if he understood me totally and was afraid to say he understood or agreed.

I think he was confused because he never heard of Candace Owens...scary!
