Some people take the term "fast-food" a little too literally.
Authorities in Tennessee are searching for a woman who allegedly fired a gun through a Burger King’s drive-thru window. Fortunately, employees in the restaurant were reportedly able to escape through a rear doorway and no injuries were reported.
The Memphis Police Department posted about the incident on Facebook, which occurred at a Burger King in Memphis on Tuesday, March 30th. According to the post, no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
Witnesses reportedly said that the woman was upset at how long she the wait at the drive-thru was. She allegedly exited her vehicle and approached the window, where she began arguing with one of the workers.
The woman then reportedly returned to her vehicle (which she was not the driver of) and retrieved a handgun. Authorities say she returned to the drive-thru window, leaned inside the restaurant and fired the gun several times.
The woman then returned to her car, which drove away from the scene.
The Memphis police wrote on Facebook that employees at the restaurant fled through a rear door and were unharmed.
The Facebook post also included several images from security cameras that show the woman leaning through the window and pointing a gun inside the restaurant.

I’ve been at driver throught that took over 40 minutes before. STUCK = IN = LINE.
They were giving preferential treatment to the customers in line inside.
After 40 minutes I was able to get OUT of the drive through line and didn’t bother going to the drive up window (there were still several cars ahead but at least I had reached a point where I could leave).
I called the business when I got home and asked to speak to the manager. I was told that they were too busy and didn’t have time to take a call. I gave them an earful. Then I called the corporate headquarters and lodged a complaint as a recorded message. No one local or national ever bothered to call or write.
I have had similar bad experiences with some drive throughs. But I never lashed out physically.

Discrimination is a learned behavior and this doesn’t help their cause. Blacks have a problem that needs to be addressed from within. As I’ve said before, I think the War on Poverty, by encouraging fathers to leave the home, is part of the problem, but this is just a far too common news story. Throwing more money at the problem isn’t a solution. That needs to come from within the black community and until we see them starting to take steps to fix it, I think everyone else needs to stay out of it, including financial support.
Where was Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot when this incident happened? Just axing the question.

Burger King hasn't run their "Have it Your Way" jingle in a long time, likely because they realized they can't cater to certain customers.
The parody jingle needs to be updated to account for delays at the drive through:
