I’ve been at driver throught that took over 40 minutes before. STUCK = IN = LINE.
They were giving preferential treatment to the customers in line inside.
After 40 minutes I was able to get OUT of the drive through line and didn’t bother going to the drive up window (there were still several cars ahead but at least I had reached a point where I could leave).
I called the business when I got home and asked to speak to the manager. I was told that they were too busy and didn’t have time to take a call. I gave them an earful. Then I called the corporate headquarters and lodged a complaint as a recorded message. No one local or national ever bothered to call or write.
I have had similar bad experiences with some drive throughs. But I never lashed out physically.
Was at a Wendy’s walk in to order and waiting a longtime in line not that long.
Started conversation with guy behind me who came inside to get his paid for order while waiting 30 minutes in drive through. Soon after he went up to the counter and started loudly complaining about the service which was quite awfully run in there. Well that killed it for me as I walked out across the street to the Mexican restaurant instead. Those fast food places getting suckier all the time and more expensive with less quality food and service.
Scrooge all that...
They were giving preferential treatment to the customers in line inside.
......................................;
Why should they not do that?
Or at least equal treatment?
Sometimes it’s a one armed paper hanging drill and folks just get overwhelmed.
When they do they often fall back on what’s most visible to them to do, so folks standing inside.
Just human nature.
As for this gal, lady if you can’t wait go for fried chicken...
That’s why God invented the radio. You probably spent as much time complaining about the service as it took to get your food.
Obviously you had time on your hands.
Chill. These people make a lot less than you do and if anyone calls in sick then everything goes south.
Sometimes they have too many customers. Maybe next time you can find a hole in the wall place. The service is better and the food is better. They can’t afford to lose you as a customer.
