Ukraine’s military announced Saturday that it will hold joint military drills with NATO troops later this year amid escalating violence with pro-Russian separatists in the eastern part of the country.
The armed forces said in a statement on Facebook that the drills will be held with more than 1,000 military personnel from at least five NATO member states in a few months.
“In particular, defensive actions will be worked out, followed by an offensive in order to restore the state border and territorial integrity of a state that has been subjected to aggression by one of the hostile neighboring countries,” the statement said, in an apparent reference to Russia.
An exact date for the drills was not provided.

Will US troops be involved?
I am MUCH more concerned about China’s upcoming INVASION of Taiwan.
Taiwan, Ukraine and the Baltics will happen concurrently.
Along with anything Iran wants to grab.
NATO has never been weaker. The entire EU is a financial basket case. The EU is getting substantial energy from Russia. A former German defense official stated Germany could not conduct a war at full pace for more than a week, due to no spare parts and no supplies. WHAT the heck are they doing? Best guess? An example of display behavior is when someone fires a gun at a criminal with the intent to scare him instead of killing him. It often leads to the person making the display getting killed instead of the bad guy.

Those lunatic Ukes are going to invade eastern Ukraine? The coup that seized power doesn’t automatically inherit everything the old nation owned. The reason is that other people have the same right to grab power in their areas...just like the Lviv crowd did in Kiev.
They grabbed Kiev, locals grabbed Donetsk and Crimea.
The coup government is going to keep pushing until they get another war. And Biden and our idiot generals desperately want US and Russians in direct combat. They have also been pushing for it in Syria. But it’s wayyyy more dangerous on the Russian border.

Russia’s economy is not a lot better. Don’t be fooled by the media—Russia would be able to go to war for about a week...then it will be broke.
Ukraine is NOT part of NATO. It is an illegal drill.
And if this exercise involves NATO troops and it’s intended to rehearse the Kiev offensive in eastern Ukraine, that means they intend to have NATO troops in the activity.
Will German units be operating in eastern Ukraine again For the first time since 1944?

Will the Ukrainians welcome them again as liberators and volunteer to work as camp guards?
Just as a side issue - but how will the “offensive” war in eastern Ukraine and Crimea be financed? (What with Biden’s trillion dollar infrastructure program and other trillion dollar programs?)
