ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- The West County Center was put on lockdown Friday night after shots were fired inside the mall.
The mall's security said the center went on lockdown after a shot was fired on the second floor. The Des Peres Police Department said two groups of people got into an argument when one of them fired the shot. No one was injured. Officers from multiple agencies responded.
A witness we talked to said he saw the gunman fire a shot from the second floor, then went down the escalator and kept shooting...

I was at a work event downtown STL a few years back. Left the hotel to walk around and get a bite. Came back, the whole park and block was yellow taped off. Car crashed into the hotel. Somebody pulled up beside the driver and shot him. Watched the coroner wheel the driver away. This was right outside the park across from the STL arch.

First it was unsafe to go to the galleria mall in St. Louis. Over the last couple years there have been several shooting fatalities at that particular mall. Now they’re attacking West County Mall.
Slowly but surely they will kill all the balls in the St. Louis area.
The metro area already has had several dead malls. Just look at Chesterfield Mall.

I notice the only thing specifically identified in the text of the article was a white car.
But I bet our first guess as to the description of the perpetrator(s) is correct.
Listening to the Fox local news. No injuries. Only one shot per police. Near the apple store, but some people there were claiming up to 6 shots. Reporter on scene talked with person who saw the shooter -zero description of shooter — so it likely was NOT a white guy. Ha.
