My perennial question: how about those who’ve recovered and have antibodies?

That applies to me.
I had the antibodies infusion last week. And I’m told not to get vaccinated for another 90 days.
But what do I care? I have Covid now.
Bleah.

Science says they have at least the same immunity as someone who has been vaccinated. But we're not being advised based on science anymore - the masks are about fear and performance-art.

If you’ve recovered from a severe case, it’s very likely that the level of antibodies present in your body has you every bit as safe from reinfection as those who’ve been vaccinated.
Those who had mild or asymptomatic cases are pretty safe from the April 2020 variant, but not the Brazil or South Africa variants. There’s a change to the protein structure in those variants which reduces the effectiveness of the antibodies for the April 2020 variant by making it more difficult for them to bind properly to the S-protein. Those who had a severe case or who have been vaccinated typically have so many antibodies present that it doesn’t significantly impact immunity.
If the Brazil and South Africa variants are not present in your area, this isn’t much of a risk. If you’re traveling, it’s impossible to know who you’re sharing air with and whether they’ve been exposed to those variants.

So, I'm going to Mexico tomorrow and have looked this up. I tested positive for Covid on March 5th and had a pretty mild case. I happened to have been vaccinated on March 3rd. The CDC Attestation form has an option for me. It basically allows re-entry to the US with either of the two options:
1. If you have tested positive for Covid in the last 90 days and have fully recovered. You must have a letter from a licensed health care provider OR health care agency that you have recovered and are ok to travel along with the positve test results from the last 90 days.
2. Have a Covid test that results in negative within 3 days of returning to the US.
I believe the rapid antigen test is sufficient. I will have my positive covid test results in hand along with a letter from my doctor I obtained on Wednesday. My doctor advised me to wait until June or July (90 days from my first vaccine) to get the second vaccine.
The funny part is going to Mexico they don't have these restrictions but the resort had a questionnaire and one of the questions asked if you have recently traveled to China, a couple of other countries I can't remember, Washington, California, or New York. Well... I "LIVE IN" Washington so I answered "No" to that question because I haven't "TRAVELED TO" Washington... ha ha ha

We lack the cancer causing shot or something.
Extremely nonsensical to push the shot if you’ve have COVID.
In Israel, it’s illegal to get the shot if you had COVID.
