The Georgia House strikes back at Delta Air Lines: Imposes a cost on woke virtue-signaling and cancel culture
American Thinker ^ | 04/02/2021 | Andrea Widburg

Just as Georgia was a flashpoint after the election because of the run-off election for the Senate, Georgia is again a flashpoint now that the Democrats, led by Creepy Joe, are demonizing the sensible steps the Georgia Legislature enacted to prevent election fraud. What's amusing about the Democrats' histrionics is watching as corporations that have earned brownie points for years by being woke, are getting slapped around by the left for not being woke enough. Even funnier is that, when Delta Airlines responded by "woking up," the Georgia House stepped in to slap it around some more.

Briefly, leftists outraged by the Georgia Legislature's effort to bring integrity to a badly damaged election process, announced that they would boycott Atlanta corporations that failed to speak out against the legislation. The corporations — Coca-Cola, Delta Air Lines, Atlanta sports teams, and others — all of which have been virtue-signaling with unabated fervor since Black Lives Matter became ascendant last year, promptly followed the leftists' instructions.

No one did it more enthusiastically than Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian. He announced that the legislation was "unacceptable." In a memo to employees, he boldly announced:

Last week, the Georgia legislature passed a sweeping voting reform act that could make it harder for many Georgians, particularly those in our Black and Brown communities, to exercise their right to vote.

The entire rationale for this bill was based on a lie: that there was widespread voter fraud in Georgia in the 2020 elections. This is simply not true. Unfortunately, that excuse is being used in states across the nation that are attempting to pass similar legislation to restrict voting rights.

Even by normal corporate virtue-signaling standards, this was over the top.

“Last week, the Georgia legislature passed a sweeping voting reform act that could make it harder for many Georgians, particularly those in our Black and Brown communities, to exercise their right to vote.”

There it is. Fictional people really will have a harder time voting. How does a state secede from a city?

What is THAT paragraph doing in an otherwise cogent essay?

My wife and I have made a very conscious decision to NEVER book ANY flights on either Delta nor American Airlines ever again.

Wouldn’t surprise me if the board brings the CEO in, and just gives the guy a month or two to clean up his act, and apologize to the state. Otherwise, in the spring of 2022...this whole issue will come up again.

It surprises me....a CEO for an airline should focus on safety, the brand-name, and delivering people on time.

Does anyone have a good email address or customer complaint number for Delta Airlines?

I want to ask them why they’re being so racist in requiring passengers to show ID before boarding their aircraft. I cannot in any good conscience do business with such racists.

RE: Where were these ‘noble’ men when Trump needed them?

There are STILL NOT ENOUGH of such ‘noble’ men.

Yes, the Georgia House revoked Delta’s millions in tax credits before they adjourned for the year. Sadly, the Georgia Senate, led by Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan, failed to do the same before the body adjourned.

Delta is never going to abandon its Georgia hub because they have successfully prevented a regional airport like Midway in Chicago. Through predominantly Republican support for big business in the state, Delta has held the metro Atlanta hostage to the airport they practically own, despite the electorate’s preference for a regional option. Now, Delta bites the hand that feeds them, and Duncan did nothing. Another consideration for 2022.

The state House included the jet-fuel tax in a bill passed on Wednesday, but the state Senate did not take up the measure before lawmakers adjourned for the year, rendering the tax dead for now. Even so, the House had sent the message.

In other words, the state house did nothing. Only conservatives would call this a win.

Here’s what should have happened — Delta’s CEO should have just SHUT UP. This election law has nothing to do with their business at all.

The excerpt from the woke idiot CEO should be in quotes. At first glance I thought it was from the author.

Oh jeez, great. More money for the government, and the only people hurt are people buying plane tickets. If this is how the GOP “fights back,” we’re effin’ doomed.

The new——(more expansive and inclusive)——voting legislation also strips Georgia’s Secy of State from chairing the election board.

Opposition to the law is very telling. We’ve yet to hear these corporate nay-sayers lift their mighty voices WRT
Secy of State’s Raffenserger and his hand-picked Deputy’s monumental scam——making up a story, then lying about
official state activities, to perpetrate voter fraud, no doubt colluding w/ these self-same Democrap whiners.

The Raffensperger/Fuchs lie is the very essence of why Georgia WAS COMPELLED to revamp voting laws.
Hopefully the new laws will protect Georgia voters by making voting impervious to power-hungry official like Raffensperger.

At a Nov 28, 2020 panel in Shanghai, Prof Di Dongsheng, mused over the narcissism endemic to Western elites
(such as GA Secy of State Raffensberger who learned Mandarin, so desperate was he to corral Chinese donors)
and the ease to which American officials were brought under the spell of the Communist People’s Republic.

CCP operatives (w/ hidden agendas) reported on their efforts to conscript “prominent Americans and institutions”
who were even willing to work against the interests of their own country.....like GA Secy of State Raffenspeger.

The Chinese professor related his own triumphs as a CCP operative in recruiting new and useful American “friends.”
(including GA Secy of State Raffensperger, the Biden Crime Family, and Cong Swallwell, to name a few),

The professor told of the ease in which America’s prominent pols fell into China’s plot to leverage the pols’ insatiable appetite for power, influence, and money.

Ga Secy of State Raffensperger fell for it hook, line and sinker....he was so desperate to remain in power,
he learned Mandarin to suck-up to Chinese donors looking to co-opt state officials for the glory of China.

CRITICS OF THE GA LAW SHOULD CHEW ON THIS-----MASSIVE EVIDENCE OF 2020 VOTER FRAUD COLLUSION

Election Fraud Hotspots – 10% of the Data are 70% of the Fraud
American Thinker.com ^ | April 2, 2021 | Jay Valentine / FR Posted by Kaslin

(EDITED EXCERPT)....examining 2020 election fraud from publicly available records, the MO was 100% data analysis;
(a) looking at the actual votes, (b) the addresses, (c) the ballot info officially reported to Secys' of State

The very same public data Google uses to profile someone for new running shoes.

Chris Wray and his pals at the FBI may not want to open this can of worms, but we did – with database analysis.

===========================================

CASE IN POINT If a tractor trailer truck with 100,000 Biden ballots drove from NY to, say, PA, how can we find out?
<><>Every ballot has a person’s name and address.
<><> The ballot is cast, illegally;
<><> the ballot is counted.
<><> The local government is involved;
<><> U.S. Postal Service officials are involved.
<><> the official record of the ballot cannot be hidden.

That makes it highly collusive, sovereign, industrial-strength election fraud.

======================================

HOW THEY DID IT to fake 100,000 ballots, you need a bunch people sitting around tables with pizza and Cokes and
newly-sharpened #2 pencils to effectuate the voter fraud infrastructure.
<><> Every fraudulent ballot needs to tie to an address.
<><> Each ballot needs to tie to a name.
