People that had had the virus before there were any tests available for it, and thus are immune and need no shots for it, would not be able to prove they were immune and not needing the shot, if antibody tests could not detect antibodies properly.... .

Question is, how far back can those antibody tests check?

I'm a little confused, this COVID seems to be trying to re-invent the wheel. If the existing Immunization Record is used it would just be another vaccine.

I know the US Army has a database on my vaccines, there is one on my daughter the school can access, and my Thai wife had to prove several vaccines as part of getting her green card, that is now in a database.
