They’ve been reading too much Robert Heilbronner and Thomas Picketty, and not enough Friedrich Hayek.

By misusing the terms “capitalism” and “socialism,” the writers are appealing to people who have no knowledge of 20th century history.

[It places a big bet on the ability of the federal government to drive sustained economic growth at a time when confidence in institutions is low.]

Karl Marx would be pleased.
Of course he died some time ago but his misinformed and dangerous economic theories survived. In fact, these theories are now favored in both our major media and our universities. And, currently, by our federal government.
If you believe the idea of slavery was dead in America you are wrong.

I wish we had Republicans that fought as hard as democrats in the court of law and put to use some of the judges that President Trump put into office.

It is funny to call it Capitalism, when government is in charge. Reminds one of the History of the 1930’s, when Capitalists made a deal with Socialists. They call it Fascism now.

The election was stolen. No one as popular as President Trump could have lost an honest election to a basement dwelling buffoon who could barely raise a dozen people for the couple of "rallies" which Biden held.
This was perhaps the greatest fraud and conspiracy of all time. A cabal of communists and new world order types cleverly engineered this fraud on a trusting and gullible public. These are not Biden's policies but the policies of a secret committee of communists who are running the country.

In addition to traditional infrastructure projects, Biden’s $2.25 trillion American Jobs Plan would make government investments in broadband, electric vehicles, climate change, elderly care, child benefits, housing and developing future technologies. Anyone remember the total disaster the Federal Government created with Urban Renewal back in the 60's? First, they tore down huge swaths of historic homes and businesses in urban areas, many of them owned by blacks at the time. Then replaced those fine old structures either with 1960s crap project housing or they bisected neighborhoods with giant expressways to move people quickly out to suburburban housing. In short order the project housing, owned by government agencies, fell into disrepair. Blacks who were homeowners were now renters. Yeah, that worked out real well. That along with the War on Poverty.
