Yeah, because otherwise some fraction of one percent of the population will die, most of whom were in the process of dying already, or who will actually die from something else and their deaths will be blamed on COVID and your regrettable tendency to think with your head and not your TV.

The “jab” is being promoted in a way that it’s the key to ‘getting out of COVID jail’. The elderly in our area are jumping through all sorts of hoops to get their jabs .... desperate to see family & friends again. Those eyeball deep in fear porn are also acting the same way - we have also noticed that the first question, pretty much without fail, people are asking when they talk to you via phone or in person after a bit of an absence, is ‘have you gotten your vaccine yet’?
IMHO, the real agenda is to reduce the number of seniors on Medicare and Social Security roles.
Let's see her do her job and have the government remove the immunity from the manufacturers.
Unless they are in a "nursing home" the only thing keeping them from seeing family and friends is their own phobia.
Next use for the ‘snitch line’ - reporting neighbors who haven’t had the shot. I wouldn’t be surprised if some states start printing the names of ‘holdouts’ in the paper.

Unfortunately, this is the case. As one example: My mom has a friend who has not been out of her home since March a year ago. Her daughter brings groceries & leaves them on the porch (daughter is masked while putting groceries on porch). There is no contact. The daughter tells the mom she cannot leave without the vax. Mom says she won’t leave without the vax - absolutely terrified. Out of a group of 12 in my mom’s circle of friends, there are at least 3 or 4 acting this way. Lots of this sort of stuff going around, even with some younger folks - I call them “Covidians”, not sure they’ll ever recover mentally.
Beam me up...AH.
