Unfortunately, this is the case. As one example: My mom has a friend who has not been out of her home since March a year ago. Her daughter brings groceries & leaves them on the porch (daughter is masked while putting groceries on porch). There is no contact. The daughter tells the mom she cannot leave without the vax. Mom says she won’t leave without the vax - absolutely terrified. Out of a group of 12 in my mom’s circle of friends, there are at least 3 or 4 acting this way. Lots of this sort of stuff going around, even with some younger folks - I call them “Covidians”, not sure they’ll ever recover mentally.
