How new ESG ‘credit scores’ could affect EVERY aspect of your life
The Blaze ^ | March 5, 2021 | Blaze TV staff

Soon, a low score — based on things like products you buy or how much electricity you use — could SIGNIFICANTLY impact your life

Global elites may soon influence every financial aspect of your life — car loans, business loans, mortgages, and more. It's all thanks to the partnership between America's biggest banks, the federal government, and global groups like the World Economic Forum —and it has already begun.

The Heartland Institute's Justin Haskins joined Glenn Beck on the radio program to describe how Bank of America Merrill Lynch now assigns ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) credit scores for customers. It may not affect you yet, but soon, a low score — based on things like products you buy or how much electricity you use — could significantly impact your life.

If there is any silver lining to living in a “sanctuary state” like NJ (and it isn’t worth the tradeoff), it is that the gubmint accommodates illegals living in legal limbo. For example, a law was recently passed requiring businesses to accept cash.

NJ is a perfect illustration as to why a “cashless society” can only exist in small homogenous countries (or those where assimilation of foreigners is truly a goal).

Howzabout the freeloaders of society who produce nothing tangible, own private jets, and dump 650 metric tons of pollutants in the air every year. It’s all the rage in Hollywood, Washington, and state capitols.

If it’s all about the cost of borrowing money....just don’t borrow money. If it’s about the goods you buy....pay cash. There has to be a way in which you can drop off or close to off their radar.

I used to think that the French Revolution was a horrible thing. Now, I’m starting to think that they had their reasons.

This is easy. You simply use other banks, financial institutions etc.
Just like I use Gab but have never been part of Twitter.

I had some vaping brillo headed woman show up at my suburban door yesterday and try to sell me solar panels. She gave me attitude when I politely said I wasn’t interested. I think there is a lesson here. These Democrats now think they don’t even have to fake it. It’s all in yo’ face now. 24/7/365.

Cash is not useful in many cases.

Anything online doesn’t take it

Post-covid, Many stores are card only.

Can’t rent a car with it

Almost can’t get a flight with it (when was the last time you paid cash for a flight? Best way to set off alarm bells post 9/11

Most cities can’t buy a metro train or bus ticket with it (stored value cards, in many cases, can only be bought online)

Can’t pay rent with it in many many properties

...based on things like products you buy or how much electricity you use...

It's OK to use electricity instead of gasoline to power a car, but it's not OK to use electricity instead of natural gas for heat, cooking, or hot water.

That only works while there are choices to make.

Once they all adopt it you are pretty much limited to cash.

And thats hard to do for alot of things.

I have friends that have gone the “off the grid” way. They are quite unique and very smart. I thought they were kind of wierd 10 years ago....today I am stunned at how right they were. This has been a long time coming....most of the U.S. are in debt, buy a lot on credit, have a big house payment, etc. I don’t see how we turn this ship around. Very sad to see what has become of our ‘great experiment’.

There are always choices to make, even long before cash money was introduced.

Consider going to a Trusts and Estates lawyer and putting as many of your assets as you can into a revocable living trust.

Especially your guns (a special kind of trust).

Name your trust something over-the-top PC, such as “The Truth and Reparations Trust” and put your utilities in the name of the trust. Get a checking account for the trust and use the Debit Card for your online purchases.

Also, seek out a “Time of Use” electricity rate structure. This usually involves getting a new meter. Shift your discretionary electric use to the off-peak hours.

There are a lot of ways to spoof the system and you can end up saving money and improving your estate planning.

Your post is wrong in several aspects.
You can actually buy online with cash l. You just gotta jump through a few hoops.
Mainstreet stores that do not accept cash are fast working themselves out of business.

They are smart.

I looked up some companies I’ve been invested with. Here’s an example of ESG and “social justice”....

And this is just one example. There are many.

More than a few hoops.

Even pre-paid cards like Netspend are not anonymous. And costs up to $4 each time to load money into the card. Unless you use their non-existent network.

Other pre-paid cards require government standard information (SSN etc) if you want to reload them.

COD is an option most online retailers won’t use

Paypal has use fees (up to 2.9% to 4.4%)
Western Union has use fees (up to 5%)

For example, the Walmart card has these fees;

$1.00 card purchase fee if you get the card in a Walmart store
$5.94 monthly service fee
$3.00 to reload your card with cash via Walmart cashier
up to $5.95 reload fee if you reload your card on the Green Dot Network (the Walmart MoneyCard is issued by Green Dot Bank)
$2.50 ATM fee for out-of-network ATMs
$0.50 ATM balance inquiry

Oh, and non-bank ATM charges of up to $5 per transaction.

Great way to spend your cash in fees. You want to be anonymous? You will pay, pay, pay in fees
