Facebook on Wednesday removed an interview with former President Donald Trump on his daughter-in-law’s Facebook page, drawing immediate backlash from conservatives renewing their ongoing complaints against Big Tech and Section 230
Lara Trump, who is married to Trump’s son, Eric, promoted an interview on Facebook and Instagram with the former president Wednesday for her show "The Right View.”
Soon after, Facebook removed the interview because content posted “in the voice of Donald Trump” is not allowed while he remains banned from the platform, a Facebook employee said in a screenshot of an email posted by Lara Trump. (Facebook did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Forbes, but confirmed it removed the video to USA Today.)
Facebook said the rule applies to campaign accounts and former Trump surrogates, leaving an exception for news organizations posting content featuring Trump’s voice.
The move drew immediate criticism from Trumpland, with Lara Trump saying the U.S. is “one step closer to Orwell’s 1984” and Eric Trump decrying it as “so horrible.”
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) blamed the “liberals running Big Tech” for the decision and renewed his call to repeal Section 230, the statute granting companies legal immunity from content posted by their users.

anyone on FB should post a link to one of the President’s speeches and see what happens.
Of course it was a disgrace, but I would hope by now, Mr. Trump would not put himself in the position to give Facebook instant Veto Power over his interviews being shared.
Trump, or his media savvy assistants should expect rotten, uneven behavior by the Facebooks and the Instagrams of the web. Surely, other choices exist. At least I hope they do.
There doesn’t appear to be any ‘breaking up’ of these media monster monopolies any time soon.
I’m GLAD...it will drive people off of Facebook that much quicker.
Among everyday citizens it’s more than just conservatives.
I shared Laura’s post twice but neither one showed up on my page. I then posted the link via mergeurl. Now all three are showing up but only the mergeurl one is getting any attention.
You actually mean there are still “conservatives” using FB?
Conservatives should quit using Fecebook altogether.
BTTT!
There are many alternatives out there, such as Bitchute and Rumble, as well as a FB-like alternative called MeWe.
NOTE: MeWe does use AWS.
Stop using DARPAbook.

99.9% of the world will not go to BitChute or Rumble. Even as a conservative, what’s posted there even freaks me out sometimes.
MeWe is total and complete garbage. Never improved.
Parler could have been good, but it was confusing hot mess of a feed.
None of them offer instant messaging or media sharing. A key feature.
Viber, WhatsApp and others require phone numbers.
Skype I don’t trust as it’s tightly integrated in with Microsoft (you can never delete a Skype account unless you delete all your Microsoft services as well - subscriptions, Xbox, mail, login etc.
Same with Google Teams. See Microsoft above.
Zoom. It’s Chinese, ‘nough said.
Why are they all so afraid of President Trump? He is Christian, he loves America and he wants to help his fellow man.
