As Good Friday and Resurrection Day approaches, this remembrance, this celebration of what The Lord Jesus Christ did by, in obedience to His Father GOD, giving Himself over to be horrendously beaten and scourged nearly to the point of death, spat upon, struck repeatedly, stripped naked, and forced to carry a crucifixion cross nearly all the way to a rocky hill called Golgatha (the place of a skull).
When anyone has visited Israel and seen that craggy mount, it truly looks like the face of a skull.
It was there, between two thieves, that Jesus was nailed hand and foot to that post and beam method of the most excruciatingly painful and brutal execution method known at that time.
The cross was set into place at eye-level, so that those standing about or passing by right along the way (for crosses lined both sides of a long winding road) would look upon those whose sentence of death was being carried out in extreme proximity—just a few feet away, possibly inches, with the stench of torn, rotting flesh of those deceased and blood pouring from still-living condemned poured down and made the road of rocks and bloody mud.

And every single, solitary thing that mankind ever had faced, was facing, or would ever face was nailed to His Cross, and died with Him. But after three days, Jesus, GOD in the flesh, walked out of that rock-hewn tomb. But remember, all the things Jesus took to the grave? They were cast back into Hell where they belonged!
And NO ONE, NOT ANYONE, has to face life on Earth being tormented by anything ever again. All they have to do is receive God’s Free Gift of Salvation and make Jesus Christ the Lord of their life, and healing springs like a river over their souls and His Spirit comes to dwell with their spirit, forever. He will never leave nor forsake you. He died to save you. Take His nail-scarred hand, He LOVES YOU FOREVER.
Rather than get upset, point fingers and fume about this we need to fight back in a real way - a way THEY can understand.
Let's 'self identify' as birds.
Create a flag. Huddle together when they question if we REALLY do self identify as birds. What better ruse to use against those who remain on the Earth, after refusing Christ and being left to face 7 years of judgment, than to stoke abject fear on top of billions suddenly, right - before - their eyes missing, and say that an imminent second wave of extraterrestrial attack was going to happen unless everyone on the planet submitted to, and eventually worshipped a very intelligent, crafty, charismatic young man who pops on the world scene and tells all that all is well, the aliens have gone home?
Agree, Luke 17:2, and how the angel demonstrated destruction of future Babylon. It seems to tie back to the "woman" who harnesses the beast (government of future Babylon) who then leads the entire world to drink from the cup of abortion and abominations. There is only one kingdom worthy of being avenged for all the deaths on earth. That is the kingdom which led the world to slay the most. The preferred killing method is the abortionist's scalpel.

I still think it’s Rome (because it’s a city in Revelation). But I’ll admit Jerusalem is a possibility. Jerusalem is obviously mentioned as “that great city” in Revelation 11.
Karl Keating even said the Babylon in 1st Peter reference is to Rome. (or Jerusalem). On this I agree with him.
