I had attempted to respond to you as follows.
I agree with your take, but I also believe that Obama bought
into that dichotomy.
On this point, he did other funding as well. He funded and
armed the Muslim Brotherhood and al Qaeda. Shortly after
funding al Qaeda in Syria, ISIS exploded out of nowhere,
well funded and armed.
The Muslim Brotherhood toppled Lybia and Egypt’s governments.
Now I’ve had a few people state to me that Egypt fell due
to political activity in it’s own nation. The problem
with that theory, is that the Muslim Brotherhood had operations
going on in 13 different nations at that point. It would be
very hard for me to dismiss it having active operations ongoing
in Egypt also.
I think it hid itself in the political ranks inside Egypt.
