The only sport I’ve ever followed has been NASCAR. Couldn’t care less about Football, Basketball or anything else. However, I always said that if I ever started to follow football, I’d be a Redskins fan, but then they caved.
NASCAR caved and lost my support. (I was actually working with Dover Speedway to have my employer exhibit at their fanzone. Not anymore)
I’ve wanted to see a Cup series dirt race for years. Yesterday they covered Bristol Speedway with several feet of dirt and raced. I watched for about five minutes and found that I just don’t care enough to invest my time.

That’s long been a beef I’ve had with NHL games these days. I can’t stand the loud music and sound effects that are at the games, such as the goal horns and the canned music at every play stoppage. The organists were far better music and entertainment in years past.
LoL. Same here. I’ve been a NASCAR fan since they were still racing at Riverside. After the smollet dust up, I deleted everything related to NASCAR. Don’t know who is racing, or where they are racing. I watched about 20 laps yesterday before they went to a competition caution. I found the entire “show” waiting for them to resume racing was ridiculous. I turned the channel, and that will be my contribution to their ratings this year.

XACTLY. Sports/entertainment is downstream from survival.
If you turn off the sound and look at the pictures...you quickly see that ESPN is a clown show.

It’s really closer to 56.3%. Anyone who is watching for SJW virtue signaling will soon get bored and leave too. No real fans watch sports for that reason.
I love social justice messaging. Now I am going to become a football fan. I really like that Kapernick guy. I am going to be a fan of his team. I am going to need some help understanding the game of football and how they use their feet on the ball. First thing I want to know is why is the ball not round like other games that I don’t understand? And really even though I have spent my entire life being down on dumb mouth breathing jock types, now I am going to like them.

Honestly, I don't know how anyone can watch an NBA game and I don't understand how the league has any following at all. And how do teams afford to pay those astronomical salaries? If TV viewership is down then revenues are down. But then, I watch golf....
People still watch the sports?? huh.
The funny part is, the NBA is now trying to get a new TV deal .. at 3X what they’re getting currently

I’d had it then and was about to abandon ship...then the NFL allowed disrespecting our nation. Done!
Cut off Dish network, killed my Amazon membership, deleted our Facebook accounts, no Netflix.
