Carano was fired from the "Star Wars" spinoff series in February after drawing intense criticism for a post on social media in which she compared today's political divide to the events in Nazi Germany and conservatives to the Jewish people.

The revealing thing about Heitkamp’s absurd slander of Carano specifically, and then Republicans generally is that it shows just how much of a lie and a farce her whole “moderate North Dakota Democrat” act was that she used to get elected in 2012. She revealed herself to be an u hinged extreme leftist.

I don’t think that will come as a surprise to anyone here, but it may raise eyebrows among some who voted for her on the false impression that she is different than her national party.
