Biden to announce up to $4 trillion infrastructure plan with massive tax hikes

President Biden will outline his massive $3 to 4 trillion infrastructure plan Wednesday, which will create four tax increases worth around $1.8 trillion, the White House revealed.

The commander-in-chief’s “Build Back Better” proposal, a centerpiece of his post-COVID campaign message, will be split into two packages for Congress to pass.

The first, the White House said, will focus on infrastructure investments specifically.

The second will focus on funding domestic policy areas of Democratic concern, such as providing universal pre-kindergarten and tuition-free community college, as well as health care.

The word, "infrastructure" means tangible entities ... roads, buildings, power plants, etc.

Unless Jo n' th' Ho are going to spend that much money on roads and buildings, we should question their sanity.

Mitch couldn’t stand the idea of sending a couple grand to US citizens after he approved hundreds of billions to 3rd-world countries. The Democrats rammed that down the throat of Georgia voters giving them the effective majority they now enjoy.

The New Deal was a mix of good and bad ideas. At least FDR gave people hope, even if his policies probably prolonged the Depression. He didn't have dementia and he didn't purposefully try to inflame racial divisions like Clinton, Obama and Biden.

That was when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and we were at war with Japan; the Great Depression happened before that: from around 1929 to just about 1941 and was deepened in 1936 as we were slowly recovering when FDR instituted policies that destroyed business/jobs and investing. For a great book on it all read: FDR’s Folly - How Roosevelt and His New Deal Prolonged the Great Depression by Jim Powell.
