GOT REAL ANGRY AND UPPITY ABOUT IT BEING VIET VET DAY ON AN EARLIER THREAD BECAUSE I’M STILL SORE THAT RECOGNITION (THANKS ARE NOT DUE FOR DOING ONE’S DUTY, AS ARCHAIC A CONCEPT AS THAT MAY BE) IS OVER HALF A CENTURY TOO LATE. I WAS WRONG TO COP THAT ATTITUDE. RECOGNITION, FROM HONEST, DECENT, G-D LOVING PEOPLE, AS ARE FOUND HERE IS ALWAYS WELCOME, AND WAS PROBABLY GIVEN AT THE APPROPRIATE TIME. I AM SINCERELY SORRY IF MY SHALLOW INITIAL RESPONSE OFFENDED ANYONE. IT WAS NOT MEANT FOR ANYONE HERE.
FT. BENNING, GA. I REPORTED IN ON APRIL 1ST, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND LONG AGO. I WAS THERE FOR JUMP SCHOOL. I WAS YOUNG. THREE WEEK COURSE. TWO WEEKS OF TRAINING, AND ONE WEEK FOR FIVE QUALIFYING JUMPS.

FOR TWO WEEKS WE RAN. WE RAN EVERYWHERE. AND WE ANSWERED CADENCE CALLS:
