Hundreds of people have been killed and I’ve not seen any American press on the coup that is currently taking place.
The country of Myanmar (Burma) has recently been taken over by the military-backed opposition party.
Notice that all of these protesters are unarmed citizens, yet they are being slaughtered. And why? Because they are against the coup.
So what is happening and why is it happening?
Myanmar has been the center of angst for a long time now. The Myanmar military seized control of the country and has declared a year long state of emergency. This seizure comes following an election which elected Aung San Suu Kyi who won by a landslide.
Since this time, she was arrested and the opposition party demanded a new election claiming there was fraud. There hasn’t been any evidence of any fraud, but the military has backed the opposition part and therefore they have seized control and have been killing dissidents.
They have cut off internet, they enter homes and loot them, they are even killing children. No one is safe in Myanmar right now.
This is what our future could look like after Democrats seize the guns of tens of millions of Americans. Every time that gun control was ever initiated, what was the reason? It was for “safety”. What was the result? Mass deaths.
Military commander-in-chief Min Aung Hlaing has taken power.
He has long wielded significant political influence, successfully maintaining the power of the Tatmadaw – Myanmar’s military – even as the country moved towards democracy.
He has received international condemnation and sanctions for his alleged role in the military’s attacks on ethnic minorities.
In his first public comments after the coup, Gen Hlaing sought to justify the takeover. He said the military was on the side of the people and would form a “true and disciplined democracy”.
The military says it will hold a “free and fair” election once the state of emergency is over.
There is one more video that is worth seeing, but I have to warn you it is graphic. I won’t post it here, but if you go to YouTube and search for “myanmar day of shame”, find the video from Al Jazeera and you’ll see what I mean.

Burma? America has its own problems. Sorry
The Burma military has shut down Soros operations in that country. That’s what’s behind this. Just like he is behind BLM and Antifa.
I don’t trust BBC, CNN, NPR or any crap-MSM to tell me the truth about what’s happening in the world, especially a place as opaque as Myanmar.
Unlike the US, Burma is actually doing something about massive election fraud.
I think that’s the point of the article, it could happen here.
soros and the Toons forced their way in...forced election of their people...
now the military is fighting back and I have no problem with it...
The Coup was in February. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-55882489

So, so much for the claim that the MSM isn’t covering it.
What you aren’t covering is that the Biden regime is opposed to the coup. So that puts you and the deep state on the same side.
It’s happening here. NOW
Good-un
It's instructive of what always happens after civilian disarmament, which is what the left is trying to do here.
Yes. Agreed.
Our side does not know how or what to organize...some even think we can still have legitimate elections.
Our ways to organize are simply not allowed and will be made criminal...if not considered so already.
Watch OAN news then.
“The Burma military has shut down Soros operations in that country. That’s what’s behind this. Just like he is behind BLM and Antifa.”
It certainly looks that way, another ‘Arab Spring’ being attempted.
...except Burma’s military isn’t stupid.
NPR Radio has the BBC on at 9-10am.
The BBC spends a lot of time on the Burmese situation, which has gotten very bad.
Too bad NPR makes me feel like a Russian in the CCCP.
“Burma’s military isn’t stupid”
Once a government shoots or bombs its own people, it becomes highly endangered.
Like the woman shot in the Capitol a couple of months ago?
It’s real simple. Anytime the Government wants to take away your guns it is because they plan on doing something that is going to make you want to shoot them.
