We Can & Will Silence The Opposition’: Loudoun County Public Schools Committee Posts, Then Deletes, Call For Action Against Opponents
Daily Caller ^ | 3/28/2021 | Harold Hutchison

An advisory panel to a northern Virginia public school system that’s been accused of harassment stated in now-deleted social media posts that opponents of the inclusion of critical race theory (CRT) in the school system’s curriculum “can and will” be silenced.

The Loudoun County Public Schools Minority Student Achievement Advisory Committee (LCPSMSAAC) posted the declaration on Twitter and Facebook, less than two weeks after a secret Facebook group known as Anti-Racist Parents of Loudoun County that targeted opponents of CRT was revealed, triggering a recall campaign.

“There is strength in numbers & we believe wholeheartedly, that united, we can & will silence the opposition. We ask that you please support our call to action by engaging in these 5 small, but impactful actions to help us in our mission of Advancing Equity Through Action!” the tweet read.

The tweet was deleted, and LCPSMSAAC posted a new thread on Saturday with an apology.

“We would like to sincerely apologize to anyone who may have felt as though your voice would be silenced or who has been offended by our post as that is not now, nor has it ever been our goal or intention,” the apology said in part.

I’m a bit confused by your post.

You seem to be commenting as if elections still matter.

As a chartered advisory to a Virginia School Board all their exec board info must be transparent and public as a matter of record.

In Aftermath Of Enemies List, School Committee Pledges To ‘Silence The Opposition’, The Daily Wire

"Beth Barts, an elected Leesburg-Loudon County school board representative, promoted the “silence the opposition” message.

Taxpayer-funded educators echoed the call. Jen Evans, whose Twitter handle @JenEvansLCPS lists her as “Supervisor, Student Assistance Services at Loudoun County Public Schools,” retweeted it.

Susan M. Hayden, a fourth-grade teacher at Mill Run Elementary School who volunteers “with the LCPS Minority Student Achievement Advisory Committee,” did as well. The enemies list began after Barts was censured by the school board for failing to “welcome and encourage active cooperation of Loudoun County residents,” and then retreated to a private Facebook group called “Anti-Racist Parents of Loudoun County,” whose members include current and former teachers and elected officials.

“I am very concerned that this [anti-] CRT ‘movement’ for lack of a better word is gaining support. It is difficult for me to bring attention to it without calling out specifics which may violate our code of conduct,” she wrote to the group.

Members — including most prolifically former Loudoun teacher Hilary Hultman-Lee — listed parents who were critical of, or even “neutral” towards, Critical Race Theory.

Member Jen Durham wrote that the purpose of the list was to use “hackers who can either shut down their websites or redirect them to pro-CRT/anti-racist informational webpages” and “expose these people publicly.”

Barts cheered them on. “Thank you for the response to my posting this morning,” she wrote. “Thank you for stepping up. Silence is complicity.”

I’ll give you some advice.

Elect new board members who pledge to replace the current administrators, at least the superintendent, and probably the top two or three principals. If they don’t do that, the administration will run rings around the school board unless the new board members are exceptionally sharp people, and possibly even then because they will be running the day to day operations.

Elect board members who will replace the top administrators with people who think critical race theory and woke ideology are complete crap and then let them clean house. That’s the fastest and most certain way to get the job done. The current administration will fight the new board tooth and nail, and probably win in the end.

She got one thing right. Silence is complicity. Throw them all out. Replace the government schools with something that works.

It used to be that when schoolchildren posted things about other schoolchildren on social media, the school administration was up in arms over "cyberbullying."

But now it is the teachers themselves who are cyberbullying the parents?

Sure. Bullying’s a privilege they reserve for themselves. Like Quickdraw McGraw doing the thin’in’ ‘round here.

The state school boards associations partnered with the teachers unions makes local public school governance a monopoly of governance by themselves. Teachers in one district typically run in the district they live it, it’s virtually zero representation of the taxpayers.

Then talk about ballot fraud, the polling places are on school grounds, teachers vote on their way out for the day at 2pm, residents have to drive in.
