Harrowing new details emerged Thursday about how an UberEats driver was killed when two stun gun-wielding teen girls allegedly carjacked his vehicle in Washington, DC.
The girls, ages 15 and 13, remained in custody and are facing murder charges over the Tuesday death of Mohammad Anwar, 66 — a dad of three who had immigrated from Pakistan in 2014 “to build a better life for himself and his family,” according to his family.
One of the girls allegedly told Metropolitan Police officers that they both set out with at least one stun gun specifically to steal a car that day, the Washington Post said, citing court testimony from homicide unit Detective Chad Leo.

I’m more wondering why we have so many “teen girls” joining the world of gratuitous murder - and I also have to admit my “racist White Privilege” has me wondering at their “heritage”.
There’s a huge disconnect there and I don’t know how to breech the divide. I do know it starts in Kindergarten though.
I never thought about that. There is an ongoing war on boys in this country for at least 25 years. I remember my sister saying back in the mid-nineties the public school wanted her 2 stepsons to take adderall or some other drug.
She was going to comply over the protestations of the sane family members and only by the grace of God did her husband grow a set and put his foot down said NO and instead showed her the inside of a divorce court. The boys grew into productive young men without ever taking the poison the public school administrators demanded.
Upon reflection of what’s been happening, I believe you are more right than not. We’re living in a damn scary time.

I agree - but since / as long as this man (the victim) came to America legally, I can't fault him; his immigration status is really irrelevant to the fact that he was victimized in this way.
We should by all means advocate for tougher immigration laws and set more-stringent quotas - but as long as someone comes here legally, and is not on the dole, I have no quarrel with him.

I was just commenting on the writing or the victim’s life. It’s pretty unusual to still be raising kids at 66, which is what the writer indicated.
Poor writing is common in this over-information age.
