It's absolutely fake news. 633% and 800% of what? Without the actual numbers, and no context (other than, "Hey, you should be crapping yourself in abject fear!"), this story means nothing. Where are the piles of corpses, eh? Where are the "overwhelmed" ICUs?
I personally know at least 10 people who have supposedly had COVID (with a 94% false positive rate, its possible that ONE of them actually did). Of those, you know how many have died? ZERO. Do you know how many were hospitalized? ZERO. Do you know how many had symptoms more severe than congestion and in one case, reduced sense of taste (which is pretty much to be expected when you are congested)? ZERO. And they ranged in age from 29 up to 63
Meanwhile, idiots are running out to get the experimental "vaccine" which isn't really a vaccine, and which, even when they have gotten it, won't mean they can stop wearing masks, social distancing, etc. And do you know why? Because the vaccine confers no immunity, and doesn't prevent you from spreading this "deadly" disease. So, people are rushing to get something injected into their bodies, to possibly reduce the symptoms of an illness that 90% won't even know they have, and 99.9% (or more) will survive (almost all without hospitalization).
But yeah, by all means, let's have another few years of tyranny and useless "mitigation" measures. And by all means, let's all submit to being injected with whatever our "betters" say will save us from the dreaded unicorn farts... I mean, COVID!
The person could have been taken to the hospital with something else...a mild stroke and he is tested and has coved ..then it is a coved case...magic...it is all numbers that are not the same in every state..
That does it, I believe, I BELIEVE!

What are the raw numbers?
Going from 1 to 8 new cases in a given time frame is 800% increase.
Better metric is
Total cases
Percent of total cases in a given population.
In my town, the population of the Red family increased by 200 percent over ten years. We had kids. However we are still a very small fraction of the population of the town.
My unvaccinated husband was admitted for other reasons. Was then diagnosed with covid as well. What do you want to bet he is included in these stats?

Been expecting such choppy waves. Cool to cold moist air, plus a general early spring cabin fever breakout of social activity would get the stated results.
Thing is, to not panic; just respect some caution . . . and proceed. Do not stop, and do not retreat.

There are two groups:
1. The anti vaxers that distrust the govt based on numerous falsehoods from a communist takeover government.
2. Pro vaxers that really believe the government is here to help with a pandemic created by their commie allies.
I had the covid. My whole family did.
I was on a HIKE when I lost my sense of smell. I have enough allergies it wasn’t that big of a deal.
Walked out. Decamped, and was driving back when Mrs. Red called with a fever.
Verified by tests that we had it. Pretty mild.
But I do know people that have died from it.
My doc told me she thinks it has more to do with Vitamin D and K levels than many other things. We pop vitamins
Hospitalization?? COVID?? Without complete records of all patients I call BS on this and it is FAKE NEWS.
Not sure about Michigan, but here in SoCal Hundreds of people go to the Emergency Room Daily for Hang Nails and Stubbed Toes, so “Hospitalizations” mean NOTHING!!

I am suspicious these days of ANY claim that keeps the fear narrative going.
If you want no know when they will give up the COVID tyranny the answer is clear: NEVER.
That's why the Fraud In Chief of the United States (FICUS) is now talking about coercing 'gun control' as a 'health emergency.' Having habituated everyone (especially the courts) to accept 'health' as an excuse for ignoring your rights, they will continue to use it to infringe. It's real simple.
COVID “related”? Due to government subsidies, more people are being admitted for treatment or observation from the emergency room than before COVID. All that is needed is a positive test with flu-like symptoms.

EXACTLY the “intent”.
To “alarm you” into getting a “Warp Speed” vaccine that may kill you, alter your DNA, compromise your immune system, make you sterile, and/or make your d**k fall off! (/s)
Not to mention that it may not even prevent COVID or how long the protection, if any, lasts.
Also not to mention the myriad of therapeutics, treatments, prophylaxes, and outright CURES that make COVID vaccines entirely unnecessary!
I think the biggest problem with this simplistic distinction is that President Trump falls squarely in the second group.
Maybe there’s more than two groups.
