Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas., was quick to dismiss a reporter's request that he wear a mask during a Senate presser on Wednesday.
Cruz stepped up to the microphones, but was stopped before he could speak by the unidentified reporter asking, "Would you mind putting on a mask for us?"
"Yeah, when I’m talking to the TV camera, I’m not going to wear a mask," Cruz responded. "All of us have been immunized, so..."
"It’d make us feel better," the reporter is heard replying.
"You’re welcome to step away if you’d like," Cruz said before chuckling. "The whole point of the vaccine -- CDC guidance is what we're following."
Conservatives praised Cruz and mocked the reporter on social media.
"Like a boss," radio host Derek Hunter reacted.

Why doesn’t Psaki wear a mask during the daily press briefing?
Yesterday in the liquor store section of Costco The guy behind the register told me I had to wear a mask. I told him there was nobody near me and I’ll put it on if someone gets close. He said masks were required storewide, no matter what.
So I put it on.
When I got to the counter he and this girl (both in their 20’s were next to each other behind a big plastic wall between them and me. I too, my mask off to talk (I don’t talk with a mask on) and they both put their hands to their sides and took two steps back from the register and asked me to put my mask on. It looked coreographed. It actually made me chuckle out loud.
Anyway, before I put my mask back on I told them I’d been a member since 1888 and we just got a membership to Sams club three months before this visit for the explicit reason that they don’t require masks.
It will be fun conversation for them in the break room.
I’m one of the hearing impaired and I can’t stand speaking with someone who’s wearing a mask.
I haven’t seen reporters asking Jan Psaki why she isn’t wearing her feedbag.

I have not and will not wear one for anyone. The other week at a mcdees while getting a morning coffee some bigger than me Indian told me to put one on. I promptly replied that only pussies wear masks. He then wanted to throw down, so I said ok, let’s get this over with then and I started to make my way outside. He backed down when his tough talk and size didn’t work. I’m done with it, and yes, sometimes the infantry side gets the better of me, but this is war on our freedom.
The ‘not-a-vaccine’ doesn’t work.
You know that a Corona virus is a cold virus, right?
One of the reasons we can’t cure or vaccinate against a cold is that the viruses (there is more that one type) mutate too quickly.
We are trying to cure a cold and it is already mutating away from what the ‘vaccine’ was mean to prevent.
None of ‘em work.
There is plenty of evidence that not only that the masks don’t work, but that they are harmful. Heck, the mask packaging itself will tell you that it doesn’t work. “Not for medical use,” etc.
Social distancing doesn’t work. “6 feet” was a number medfascists like Fauci pulled out of their collective asses.
The vaccine won’t work - a corona virus is a cold virus will quickly mutate away from what the vaccine was meant to deal with. We are already seeing this. There is a corona virus in India that has already mutated enough for the vaccine to be ineffective.
The only things we can really do is protect the most vulnerable (sick and elderly), take the hit, and go on with our lives.
If you ever want to make ignorant decisions, listen to a reporter. I’m not joking.

I’ll go along with the previous poster - I love Cruz but glad we got Trump.
OTOH - Cruz might want to educate himself. It isn’t a “vaccine” in the normal sense. One can still get it and pass it on. That said - those masks they are wearing do little good, so good on Cruz. AND - he was polite, and acknowledging the reporter’s discomfort.

Where they will not be wearing masks as they drink their coffee. And complaining about the person that wouldn’t wear their mask!

One thing I find comical about this whole thing is that most of the people you see not wearing masks are the ones that are “most at risk” - old people.
It’s because we are not as easily fooled.
