Chinese fans are up in arms after Nike said it would not use cotton from China's disputed Xinjiang region, and they're burning their prized kicks.
The sports company faced a massive backlash and boycott on Chinese social media platform Weibo after a statement that it released that highlighted the forced labor of Uighurs in the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region (XUAR)...
...People began posting videos of themselves burning their Nike Air Jordans and Air Force 1s, with some of these videos being reposted over 100,000 times.
"I burned all my Nikes. This is a matter of national pride. We will not be humiliated," another user with the ID Xuanxuan Mingying said.

so says Weibo and so says actor management company, Yuehua Entertainment, which stated, ""Our country's dignity cannot be infringed upon, and we will protect our country's pride..."
Nike has gotten your money.
Of course, it is. It is a communist slave state.
The Uighurs will not give up their Muslim faith and therefore are subjected to punishment.
Catholics and other Christians are also subjected to systematized mistreatment to a lessor degree because they have typically more supporters worldwide.
China is very important to Nike - it’s where they expect their biggest growth to come from.
An alternative reason these people are burning their Nikes is to acquire social brownie points.
Now that the government is giving each citizen a Social Credit Score. Anyone who wants to travel abroad will be looking for ways to build up their Social Credit Score.
Be a good citizen and attack the Capitalist Pigs and you get a cookie.
Cant remember the last time I bought anything Nike. They are utter garbage in my book.
Figures. Robert E. Lee would be Chinese. Bruce Lee was his great, great grandson. Anyone who tears down his statue is a racist. He was just defending the social norms of the Middle Kingdom/;D (only one eye slanty)
A popular share:
Question: Why do children in China all have iPhones and wear Nike?
Answer: Employee discounts.
Self-immolation would be Japanese, though Bruce Lee’s movie sister resorted to it in Enter The Dragon to save herself from a gang rape.
But seriously, I thought we had no issue with the Chinese People, who are under the boot of tyrants. And their language is very musical. Used to work next to a Jok Sing (American Chinese) who spoke it very well.
I burned my Nike apparel a couple of years back. Good riddance.
“'History!' Kaepernick wrote on Instagram Oct. 15 [2015], when he marked 50 years since the Black Panther Party was founded.
Kaepernick has posted 170 photos or videos on his Instagram account in the four years since he created it. Most of his first 128 posts were pics of him in football gear, publicity photos or shots taken with friends.
But 31 of his last 42 posts have strong social justice connotations, often featuring quotes from radical Nation of Islam leader [communist] Malcolm X, Black Panthers founder Huey Newton and cop killer Assata Shakur [aka, communist-revolutionary JoAnne Chesimard]
During a Sunday news conference about the flag flap, Kaepernick dressed in a black hat with a large, white “X” and a T-shirt that featured photos of Cuban despot Fidel Castro and Malcolm X.”

Here's a close up of the jerk's shirt. It reads "Like Minds Think Alike" (Fidel Castro and black radical/communist Malcolm X)
“With the 49ers visiting the Dolphins this week, San Francisco’s Colin Kaepernick engaged in a conference call with members of the South Florida media. However, one reporter wanted to discuss something that happened in August, when Kaepernick wore a shirt that appeared to show support for Fidel Castro, which led to a tense exchange.
The shirt depicted scenes from a 1960 meeting between Castro and Malcolm X, and it bore the phrase, “Like minds think alike.” Kaepernick wore it to a news conference after the 49ers’ third preseason game, which was when his refusal to stand during the national anthem became a major national story.”
"Huey Percy Newton (February 17, 1942 August 22, 1989) was an African-American political activist and revolutionary who, along with Bobby Seale, co-founded the Black Panther Party in 1966. He continued to pursue an education, eventually earning a Ph.D. in social philosophy.[1][2] In 1989 he was shot and killed in Oakland, California. ..."
"As a student at Merritt College in Oakland, Newton became involved in politics in the Bay Area. He joined the Afro-American Association (AAA), became a prominent member of Phi Beta Sigma fraternity, Beta Tau chapter; and played a role in getting the first African-American history course adopted as part of the college's curriculum.
He read the works of Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin, Frantz Fanon, Malcolm X, Mao Zedong, Émile Durkheim, and Che Guevara.
During his time at Merritt College, he met Bobby Seale, and the two organized the Black Panther Party for Self Defense in October 1966.[3]"

From the article: REVOLUTIONARY HEROES
"On May 1st, May Day [1969], the day of the gigantic Free Huey [Newton] rally, two of Alioto's top executioners vamped on the brothers from the Brown Community who were attending to their own affairs. These brothers, who are endowed with the revolutionary spirit of the Black Panther Party defended themselves from the racist pig gestapo [the police].
Pig Joseph Brodnik received his just reward with a big hole in the chest. Pig Paul McGoran got his in the mouth which was not quite enough to off him.
The revolutionary brothers escaped the huge swarm of pigs with dogs, mace, tanks and helicopters, proving once again that "the spirit of the people is greater than the man's technology."
To these brothers the revolutionary people of racist America want to say, by your revolutionary deed you are heroes, and that you are always welcome to our camp."

Below are the names and photos of 35 Police Officers who were murdered by the Black Panthers and the subsequent Black Liberation Army in the 60s, 70s and 80s [click link for list and details].
The Black Liberation Army was an organization that grew out of the Black Panther Party, composed of former Black Panther Party members, operating from about 1971-1980. Another two police officers on the list were murdered by the Weather Underground, a domestic terrorist group with ties to the Black Liberation Army.
Despite this readily available information, today the internet was full of articles criticizing those who were upset by Beyonces Super Bowl Halftime performance, and questioning how anyone could be upset over a woman affirming her blackness. Their analysis couldnt have been more off.
We have no issues with someone affirming their blackness or any other identity they want to affirm. We do take issue when people pay homage to a group that used terrorism and violence to promote racism and revolutionary socialism a group that murdered dozens of police officers in cold blood.
As you scroll through the list of officers below, look at their photos and read their stories. Among these officers are black men and white men. Rookies and veterans from across the country. Most were killed in unprovoked attacks and ambushes. They all left behind families .
Perhaps Beyonce, someone from the NFL, and someone representing CBS, could read through this list and tell us if they still stand by their decision to honor the Black Panthers during the Super Bowl. Then perhaps they could explain their answers to the surviving wives and children of these fallen officers. ...

Donald Trump Jr. had a scathing critique of the athletic company Nike after it decided to pull a sneaker bearing a flag used during the American Revolution.
Instead of using that older version of the American flag, Trump Jr. suggested Nike should unveil a communist-style shoe looking similar to the hammer-and-sickle logo of the former Soviet Union.
"If the Betsy Ross Flag, the flag of the American Revolution, is too offensive for Nike to commemorate The 4th of July maybe Nike should go with this... seems to be more in line with their views," Trump Jr. tweeted on Wednesday.
His attack came as Nike faced mounting criticism over its decision to halt the release of a shoe that had the Betsy Ross flag because it could "unintentionally offend" people.

Only a slightly lessor degree as Pope Francis became Xi’s buttboy and changed Catholicism into Catholicism with Chinese Characteristics

Profile: LIBERATION THEOLOGY
“...liberation theology’s real creator was the Soviet Union’s foreign intelligence and domestic security agency, the KGB.
Patriarch Kirill, who today heads Russian Orthodox Church, secretly worked for the KGB under the code name “Mikhailov” and spent some 40 years promoting liberation theology.
Ion Mihai Pacepa, the highest-ranking Soviet-bloc official ever to defect to the West, writes: “Liberation theology has been generally understood to be a marriage of Marxism and Christianity.
What has not been understood is that it was not the product of Christians who pursued Communism, but of Communists who pursued Christians....
Its genesis was part of a highly classified Party/State Disinformation Program, formally approved in 1960 by KGB chairman Aleksandr Shelepin and Politburo member Aleksei Kirichenko, then the second in the party hierarchy after Nikita Khrushchev.”
Adds Pacepa: “In 1971, the KGB sent Kirill — who had just been elevated to the rank of archimandrite — to Geneva as emissary of the Russian Orthodox Church to the World Council of Churches.... Kirill/Mikhailov’s main task was to involve the WCC in spreading the new liberation theology throughout Latin America.
In 1975, the KGB was able to infiltrate Kirill into the Central Committee of the WCC — a position he held until he was “elected” patriarch of Russia, in 2009. ...”

SEAN HANNITY: But Reverend Jeremiah Wright is not backing down and has not for years and in his strong stance on the teaching of black liberation theology is nothing new. He had the same things to say last spring when he appeared on “Hannity and Colmes:”
WRIGHT: If you’re not going to talk about theology in context, if you’re not going to talk about liberation theology that came out of the ‘60s, systematized black liberation theology that started with Jim Cone in 1968 and the writings of Cone and the writings of Dwight Hopkins and the writings of womynist theologians and Asian theologians and Hispanic theologians, then you can’t talk about the black value system.
HANNITY: But I’m a — reverend
WRIGHT: Do you know liberation theology, sir?

Yes, Pope Francis has not been good for Chinese Catholics.
Anyone who was aware of Francis’s history in Argentina could have guessed he would be a poor pope and weak on communism.
In the days when the Superpowers were locked in a Cold War, Latin America seethed with revolution, and millions lived behind an iron curtain, a group of theologians concocted a novel idea within the history of Christianity. They proposed to combine the teachings of Jesus with the teachings of Marx as a way of justifying violent revolution to overthrow the economics of capitalism.
The Gospels were re-rendered not as doctrine impacting on the human soul but rather as windows into the historical dialectic of class struggle. These “liberation theologians” saw every biblical criticism of the rich as a mandate to expropriate the expropriating owners of capital, and every expression of compassion for the poor as a call for an uprising by the proletarian class of peasants and workers. ...”
