As an uptick of migrants, including unaccompanied children, arrive at the U.S.-Mexico border, the most immigrant-populated state in the nation is “likely to be affected more than other states by what’s going on at the border,” according to Kevin Johnson, dean of the UC Davis School of Law.

“Many want to come to California,” he said. “Many have family members here. So, we as a state are more impacted than some other states.”

“I’m really proud of the fact that the County of San Diego is working with our Secretary of HHS Xavier Becerra to ensure these kids have a safe landing spot before they go to a family or a sponsor in the United States,” said Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez, D-San Diego, adding that some of the children are coming from facilities in Texas and Arizona.

And if they all go west of the San Andreas fault, that part of CA may break off and float into the Pacific.

the most immigrant-populated state in the nation

All animals are equal. But some are more equal than others.

We are all immigrants. But California has more immigrants than other states.

No one is voted into office in California, they are installed.

for one reason, Californication gives away the most free money, free food, free grocery orders EBT cards, free transportation, free health care, free schooling, free clothing, free everything.

if you were coming to USA you’d go to Californication if only to have all those financial supports available for you (even if you wanted to work)

in short, Californication gets what it pays for. more and more illegal aliens for its welfare giveaway programs. it takes people at least two weeks to even sign up for all the various free giveaways in CAL

““Many have family members here. So, we as a state are more impacted than some other states.”

Of course, what that really means is that Slow Joe has to send lots of money to the government in California.

Can you imagine these dummies in CA voting for higher gas prices, open borders, millions more illegals, higher taxes, more regulations etc?

Just amazing.

I liked the part about using the Convention Center to house migrant temporarily “for 3 months”. What’s going to change in 90 days that will stop these people from coming?

exactly. The majority in California are Hispanic they voted 49% Trump. White vote in theory should've carried the state. Except we had a 50% turn out over average of all voters nation wide. The next largest turn outs was the first election for Obama with 7% then Clinton with 5% both spectacular figures everyone talked about for years.
