Action figures and bobbleheads are yesterday’s news for the nation’s top infectious disease expert, who’s due for a tribute in a new children’s picture book scheduled for release this summer.
Publishing company Simon & Schuster announced Sunday the upcoming release of "Dr. Fauci: How a Boy From Brooklyn Became America’s Doctor."
The 48-page, hardcover book chronicles the life and career of Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the central figure in the country’s fight against the COVID-19 crisis.
"Before he was Dr. Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Anthony Fauci was a curious boy in Brooklyn, delivering prescriptions from his father’s pharmacy on his blue Schwinn bicycle," a description of the children’s book said. "His father and immigrant grandfather taught Anthony to ask questions, consider all the data, and never give up - and Anthony’s ability to stay curious and to communicate with people would serve him his entire life."

“How the Grump Stole Christmas”?

What cult?
If he had a shriveled hand and one eye ball I’d wonder if he’s the anti christ. He’s too small a toad for that though; just a liar and a tool.

He’s a media celebrity, and it has gone to his head.
I’ve watched Fauci a lot. How could one avoid it? He is overtly political for certain. What I’ve also learned about him is that he is not good at all communicating to people with different levels of understanding than him.
As a (former) IT professional, I have seen this inability to communicate complex concepts in simple terms kill many a career. If we weren’t able to do this effectively, our projects would never get approved by management or BOD.
Oh, good. I've been wondering what he did in between.
I thought for sure, by now, there would have been several books written about all the lives he saved when he was a doctor.
I thought for sure, by now, there would've been hundreds of patients he treated singing his praises for the care they received.
I thought for sure, by now, he would have written several books that doctors would cite as being the source of their inspiration to get into medicine.
It’ll be a classic. Each page will be followed by a page in which he changes what hw said previously.
Okay. Got it. Dr. Fauci, good. Dr. Seuss, bad.
Grimms fairy tales.
“America’s Doctor”???
Ha!
“America’s Dictator” is more like it. The man makes me sick. Nothing but a limelight-loving egomaniac. He embodies everything I hate about government.
Good one.
Don’t forget all the ground-breaking research papers he must have written. And I mean PRIMARY author as lead researcher, not just the boss just sticking him name on some underling’s work (as is often the case).
I believe he has a version of Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy. We are the victims.
