I doubt it will destroy Twitter, but it could take a huge share of its audience. I was surprised how small the amount of Twitter users are, something like 200 million. Compare that to Facebook which has 3 BILLION, so a Trump twitter could easily take 2/3rds to 50% of Twitter users as before he was shutdown he had almost 90 million followers.
They don’t own their own servers........................
Smart, the Right needs to break out from this Leftist dominated social media and journalism and blaze ahead with a new format.

You need to think like Trump does.
Do you remember how many times he has been betrayed in the last five years?
He doesn’t need anyone holding anything over his head.
This is the correct path forward. Hopefully we will get a MAGA credit union, MAGA hosting companies, MAGA crowd funding etc.
We are hoping that President Trump’s new platform will include areas for the public to use instead of just about anything that is out there now.
Thus far I have avoided social media. Will have to take a real close look when this becomes reality.
My thinking is that MORE platforms are born away from the usual big tech tyrants, the better..and the more the targets, the harder they could get hit. If you support Parler, gab etc, go for it. Even Telegram from disgruntled WhatsApp users who dont want their privacy exposed by FB.
He is still living in the left’s head, rent free.

Sorry, but Trump is bigger than parler and bigger than Gab.
I’m not saying that his startup is a sure hit, but if he starts using parler and gab and things get a little harry, what’s to stop them from caving in to pressure, or from feeling threatened by him and how many followers he has, or from privately trying to strong arm him, or from changing their terms mid-stream?
