Former President Donald Trump on Sunday ripped the Biden administration for turning the migrant crisis at the southern border into a full-fledged “national disaster.”
In the statement released Sunday evening, Trump also urged President Biden to complete construction of a border wall, and accused the administration of “causing death and human tragedy.”
“In the span of just [a] few weeks, the Biden Administration has turned a national triumph into a national disaster,” Trump said in the statement.
“They are in way over their heads and taking on water fast.”
Thousands of migrants have traveled to the US-Mexico border since Trump left office, forcing the Biden administration to begin housing unaccompanied children who have crossed into the US in migrant facilities.
Biden, who has faced criticism from Republicans for reversing a number of Trump’s border policies, said Sunday he plans to visit the southern border “at some point.”
Speaking with reporters after he returned to the White House from Camp David, Biden said his administration is working to ensure potential migrants seeking asylum in the US do so in their home countries.
Earlier Sunday, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said the US would not turn back unaccompanied children.

Right. And it’s very disconcerting that Trump does not know this.
I do not actively want the migrants to suffer, especially the children, but they knew there was a Statue of Liberty style wait for the masses yearning to be free to sign papers and learn about the country and then wait for proper legal steps to be finished. Not just reach for welfare benefits from across the finish line called the border.
The dirty leftists got court orders from judges to thwart Trump, opposed his using military money for the Wall, opposed every step of the Wall being built, and cried about the cruelty of it all.
Now let them all suffer for doing what they knew was wrong in opposing Trump and us.
No one-——no one——forced a million welfare grabbers to break into our country illegally.
He does know it.
He’s not trying to convince the DS cabal, he knows they must be defeated.

That is the primary reason they cooperated to cheat Trump out.
He was securing the border and restoring the rule of law.

Trump bloviating about the mess we’re in has no more effect than a fart in the wind. The people of every aggrieved state should be demanding that their Governors act independently of the illegitimate, tyrannical junta in DC to halt the illegal alien invasion. The only way forward is state-by-state nullification, non-compliance, and secession from the now-defunct USA.
