You are right and I see the same in the Colorado numbers. Colorado shows about 140,000 active cases and that’s impossible given we’ve only had a total of about 73,000 cases the last 2 months.
NYS public officials and some health systems have admitted suspected and probables are counted as new cases.
Have admitted that repeat positives of the same patients are counted as new cases.
Have never revealed when asked the cycle threshold/s in use that determine whether a test is positive or negative.
There’s a whole lot of bogus going on.
It’s been a year and I haven’t gotten sick. I only hear of someone’s cousin’s father in law that got it. I’m STILL WAITING for the flying cars after 60 years as well.
i agree with the article but Floridai is not without masks. Everywhere i have been in Jax, Naples, Boca everyone is wearing masks everywhere
It is party central in both Florida and Arizona. Ignore the fear porn and live your lives. Let the cucked lefttards grovel on their knees waiting for the world to end and go have fun!
Here's what's wrong (and what's right) with the arguments:
You cannot explain Australia and New Zealand by sticking to "lockdowns do not work", because they do work. US-style "lockdowns" obviously do not work, but with a government willing to pay the price and a population willing to go along, they absolutely do work.
The key issue (not yet resolved) is a comparison of "living with the virus" and "destroying the economy". The virus is not Ebola. If it were airborne Ebola, we would not be discussing these things.
I've recently been looking into the "Florida vs. California" issue (California is a much better comparator than NY for a host of reasons, and is often used to make the same point). It's true, the State of Florida does not require masks, and the State of California does. The State of Florida takes no notice if you go to the beach, while the State of California may arrest you if you do.
But average out the behaviors, and the states are much more similar. Many, perhaps most, private actors in Florida require masks to transact business with them. Many, perhaps most, Californians do not obey the "rules' set out by their state.
The author is obviously mistaken
NY Hospitals are jacking up the numbers because fedgov is paying $14k per covid death. All the blue cities are doing the same. Probably a lot of Karen suburbs too. Anywhere run by dems because dems lie.
Heart attack = covid
Pneumonia = covid
Car crash death = covid
Between sending covid into nursing homes and calling everything covid, that 500k deaths nationwide is probably 50k in reality. They started pumping up the numbers to make Trump look bad and to make up for lost income from canceling elective and non-emergency procedures and then decided to keep going because they like getting the taxpayer paid $14k per death.
That’s the only thing that explains why in states like FL or here in MO where we haven’t worn masks and were only shut a few weeks last year, are not all dead.
election fraud
covid fraud
Same places and same type of people.
Covid somehow remained in St Louis and KC for a months here. You’d find a case out in the country here and there but it was a super slow spread even though plenty of people go to the city for a once a month or week to visit family or for other reasons and some commute up to 60 miles away.
I have yet to hear of any one of the 800,000 people who crowded in DC on January 6 - maskless - come down with this silly virus.
In a Sam’s I saw a woman in an oversized (for her)rain coat with two masks and a full motorcycle helmet on with oversized gloves going through the store.
Folks can sure be bamboozled.
The places in Florida that they really fuss at you about wearing masks is inside stores, especially big box chain stores which have HQ in other states. Their store crews are pretty shrill and hassle you about masking.
The few places we regularly go that “require” a mask are the hardware stores and Publix.
Personal observation: My brother-in law 77 had been diligent in following fancies guide lines all year. He got the shot January 25 and was admitted to the hospital the following day, through testing found out he has cancer. Won’t be with us much longer. tested negative for china flu.
We were there in February for 10 days. Open for business.
I’m not only old enough to remember falsies, but I remember when the dancing girls could twirl their tasseled pasties in opposite directions.
Or so I’ve been told.
I don’t deny that the numbers are jacked around with by politicians. Early on we never reported without a positive. But you are correct with the PCR cycles.
I’ve thought a lot about the PCR. I have finally settled on it’s like the enzyme we sample for to see if there has been heart damage. It is so ultra sensitive that I’m not sure what to do with a mildly positive result. Same with PCR. I’m not sure what it means in terms of actual disease. To be clear I have no doubt a zillion of the PCR positives were asymptomatic infection secondary to insufficient viral load for disease in addition to late positives related to inactivated virus being processed by the body.
There is no question there was a second wave. But our hospital which had 140 Covid cases at peak about 8 weeks ago is down to 9
It boggles the mind how the data are corrupted.
Correct. And yet, there are still multitudes who are terrified of Covid and trust everything the government and their media branch tells them.
PFL
Sorry for your BiL’s shitty turn in his health.
