Amid rumors of a video that shows a student being targeted during a diversity lesson at Boise State University, administrators have abruptly suspended all of the school’s general education classes called “University Foundations 200: Foundations of Ethics and Diversity.”
“We have been made aware of a series of concerns, culminating in allegations that a student or students have been humiliated and degraded in class on our campus for their beliefs and values,” states a March 16 memo from President Marlene Tromp to the campus community.
“This is never acceptable; it is not what Boise State stands for; and we will not tolerate this behavior,” Tromp stated. “…Given the weight of cumulative concerns, we have determined that, effective immediately, we must suspend UF 200.”

These are our colleges today.......
That something like this ever took place in Idaho is a very very bad sign.
What you can say over the past five years....degrading, demeaning, and dumping on people has reached a level where its unacceptable. By the end of 2022, I expect literally thousands of lawsuits to be lodged against various public colleges and the consequence will be massive bankruptcy for the institutions.
About time.
About time. Just one school?
Oh I do hope you are right.
“About time. Just one school?”

Where there is ONE... MORE CAN FOLLOW.
Boise is blue, twice over.
Perhaps more of a sign of American universities, regardless where they are.
The problem I see is that university towns are more and more left and seed farms for the rest of a state's "cultural revolution"
This reaffirms my plan to retire in North Dakota: A place with scenery so bleak and weather so bad that no progressive would dare move there.
pyrrhic victory
they will just tweak the classes
the brainwashing and war on whites will continue unabated
its 100% on right now, they aren’t going to stop
Tromp’s decision came around the same time as Idaho lawmakers passed a state education budget that takes away about $409,000 from Boise State University because of its social justice curriculum, Idaho Ed News reports.
This is how this sort of thing needs to be fought.
I’d like to see a tidal wave of push back. We need Maccabees* I repeat this prayer daily*
Yay Idaho!
Kudos to the Idaho legislature for yanking $400k from the Boise State budget because of their “social justice” curriculum!
The legislature is paying close attention to what is going on at Boise State and already axed $400k from their budget for “social justice” crap. I hope the legislature hounds them to death and watches for any sneaky ways those bastards have to sneak the crap back in.
That they would recognize the folly is a great sign.
Boise is not the cozy little country town anymore....
What an unhelpful news article. Who said what to whom?
Some people said something...period.
Writer of the piece should be humiliated and degraded by the editor (as if one existed).
It’s hostile learning place and I’M PAYING FOR IT.....
“Boise is not the cozy little country town anymore...”
Hasn’t been for 20 years.
By 2005 the farm’s edge hamlet of Eagle, ID was touting its California-esque gated communities and calling itself “The Napa Valley of Idaho.”
If there were ever a simple marsh aspiring to be a reeking cesspool...
Hope they all drown in it.
