One thing in the David Carradine as Woody Guthrie Bound For Glory film I always wondered about is how could the Californians think they could stop free Americans from going there from another state. They acted like it was a country. They had a “quota” and beat and jailed people who tried to get into the State of California.
Now they won’t stop true illegals from Central America, Arab countries, India and elsewhere from entering without going through legal immigration procedures.
Note: India is true. A woman I heard interviewed was asked for the way Indians get into the US from the southern border. She said they pay for other countries, usually in Central America first to allow them in briefly, then they take the “donkey caravan” over long roads to the illegal border crossing points. I never would have guessed. Thousands a year do that.

All my financial, law and CPA firms have said they are either leaving the city or when they decide to come back it will be at reduced capacity of 10-25% and on a rolling schedule of 3 days in-2 days out, followed the next week with 2 days in-3 days out.

Sad but funny part of this for me is, my business has been booming and with nobody on the roads and freeways we can get a hell of a lot more work done. Part of me hopes they Never open up in SoCal just because of the traffic it will bring.

I own a very specialized service business and am the only that does what I do, in very High Demand always!
Those of us who would be likely to go to Texas, or Idaho, or Wyoming, etcetera actually did NOT VOTE FOR IT, we voted against it.
