Does the EIB Network have ongoing contracts with local stations? That I don’t know and will try and find out locally.
I know the replays are hurting our local station, I am a fill in host for a weekend show.

EIB is just a conglomeration of contracted networks. For whatever reason, some of those networks are dropping out and hiring their own hosts for the 12-3 slot.
Who can blame them? It also may have been the plan all along.

This is not everywhere. This is on Cumulus stations. Clear Channel may have their own replacement or replacements. Independent stations will do their own thing, for the most part.
No one name will or can replace Rush, until the next best thing can get 500 stations on in that time slot.
In my opinion, there IS a replacement, but he is on the semi-competent Salem radio network, and that is Dennis Prager, THE voice as many Americans as possible need to hear right now.

They wanted Mark Levin but he turned it down out of loyalty to his current business partners. Dan often substituted for Levin and he is a great choice.
James T Harris, a conservative black man broadcasting out of Phoenix , has a radio show called "The Conservative Circus". He definately needs some national attention turned his way, his show is GREAT!
