Biden is now kicking sand into both of their faces to save face. he has to to keep the Hillary! wing happy on Russia, and for china he has to (Sanctions on Chinese leaders over Hong Kong and the Uiguar issue).
Now we need to keep a close eye as to what happens behind the scenes as that’s where the real damage will be done (sellout). It is likely that these hostilities between the US and Russia/China are covering for some really bad deals going on.

Would not surprise me if that was indeed Putin’s reaction to Biden.
