A tragedy if it happens on election day. How about a one month window to vote? Show I.D. and NO absentee voting. One big warehouse to report to rather than individual prints. Close them on the Saturday before the election. No re-voting just because an alleged blo-job surfaces.

Here's a link to the nasty map from the Storm Prediction Center... and by the way, tomorrow doesn't look any better for the I-95 corridor (and beyond) from Georgia to the NC/VA border.

Been a while (April 27, 2011, to be exact) since I've seen a 45% tornado probability swath.... of course there was a 60% circle drawn on THAT day.

Thanks for posting.

Monday night, my Blue Heeler woke me at 5:00 AM because it was thundering.

Looks as if I won’t get any sleep tonight. It’s thundering and raining here now.

My poor dogs are absolutely terrified of storms. My Maine Coon cat, on the other hand, wouldn’t flinch from an atom bomb.

I’m nervous.

Raining and thundering right now S.E.TN and calling for 2.15 inches of rain PLUS the possibility of a tornado. Not going to be a fun night. I have one dog under the bed, one under my feet, and one that doesn’t care.

And, my kids are headed to a car race competition for four days in Missouri so I’m watching her house, four goats, three outside dogs (of hers) and I don’t even know how many chickens. They have somebody coming to feed and water so I’m just watching between feeding times.

Many are, and I never slept until around midnight July 4th.

I was watching the storm chasers. They don’t know whether to skip or go blind.

The Selma tornado warning has been extended ... maybe cross I-65 North of Montgomery in the immediate vicinity of Deatsville (possibly just north of there). Pronounced hook echo on the radar.

That is a really cool, high res video clip [I downloaded it for future reference]. Makes one wonder about Climate Models...

I just found this 5 day/week weather analysis site in the last few days. It’s amazing the detail that the models now have when it comes to atmosphere/topography interactions:

https://dayweatherpodcast.com/

Today’s podcast gives some attention to the same area as your clip does.
