Note the use of silly words such as “bizarre”, and the rambling text. This has to have been written by some sort of studies major. We and other nations have been working on the hypersonic problem for at least a decade. But trying to extract any info at all, let alone anything really technical, from this article is fruitless.

I remember people at Livermore talking about hypersonic projectiles in the mid-90s.
I agree with your assessment 100%. Defiantly NOT written by anyone even tangentially familiar with weapon systems development.
I thought it was bizarre that they called it bizarre, and wondered what makes a hypersonic weapon bizarre in the first place. 8>)
