Very few professions are based on merit anymore. You never know if your minority doctor made it into medical school because he’s very smart and works hard.

But the Hollywood academy? The insiders? The people who are changing rules so that they can seem like Good Guys? Well ... they seem to have a history of giving lots of awards to old white people. Not so much to black people.
