Russia has warned today that mutating H5N8 Bird Flu has a high risk of human-to-human transmission.
The alert appears to contradict the low threat position of the World Health Organisation.
This comes almost a month after scientists detected the first case of H5N8 transmission to humans at a poultry farm in southern Russia.
The Kremlin’s health watchdog chief Anna Popova said there was “a rather high probability” of transmission between humans.
“It is likely to happen,” she told TASS.
“Colleagues say that the mutation is continuing very actively.”
But she said that scientists had spotted the threat “before a disaster happened”.

“The fact is that the virulence of the H5N8 bird flu is much higher than that of COVID-19,” said the KP report.
"In birds, this virus causes 100 percent mortality, and in humans, mortality could be as high as 50 percent.”

FYI, from a pathology and epidemiology standpoint, any H5Nx virus exhibiting a human to human vector *is* a big deal. One of those gets loose, it’s time to call Alas Babylon and head to your redoubt until it burns out. 90- 180 days.

That’s a tough one.
You are right. Bird flu is more dangerous.
It’s just that viruses tend to balance out on power vs transmissibility. Weak virus tend to be very contagious, and strong virus tend not to be too contagious.
Hell, SARS and MERS are MUCH more dangerous than this other COVID is proving to be.

From memory, I should have taken notes...these are just a couple of points.

As we know, the WHO recently switched the definition of immunity from those exposed to a disease, plus those vaccinated, to ONLY those vaccinated.
The WHO is set up to be a total control organization mandated to force vaccinations on the entire planet.

..... It seems like all of our enemy nations are now discovering the latest and next greatest pandemic threat to the world ....... Why do I have the distinct feeling that, at this point, we are all being played for fools.
I sincerely hope that this one turns out to be more FearPornHub stories. The Chinese-Frankenvirus was previously estimated to be killing us off right and left, too.
