Shazam!
The dumbest person in the Senate has figured it out.
30 years too late
Typical “Stop, Thief” tactics. (”He went that-away, etc.”)
No sh## stupid, you helped them do it and your party will pay
They are not “looking to” take control, they HAVE taken control.
But they’ve taken control not because they cheat, but because they know what they are trying to do.
Their philosophy is in their name. They believe the US is a “democracy”, or should be one. What they mean by this is that, under ideal circumstances, what would make an election legitimate would be if EVERYONE voted. That would be “fair”.
And they have a legend of “progress” to go along with this. They have amended the Constitution four times at least to expand the number and to decrease the quality of people voting (because increasing the numbers ipso facto decreases the quality). They believe, and they have taught in schools for 100 years, that this makes America better.
But, given the legal structure of US elections up until 2020, everyone CAN’T vote.
In 2020, a perfect storm of circumstances gave them the opportunity to expand the franchise further - to include people who either couldn’t be bothered to vote or who lacked the interest to become informed and to vote. This was done by adopting mail-in voting in states that did not allow it yet - but, MAKE NO MISTAKE, mail-in voting (and soon internet voting) is their preferred method of winning, by pulling in the lazy, the stupid, the fearful, and the foolish. They have it already in deep blue states like Washington, and have turned Red Colorado blue by using it.
The problem is, a lot of self-identified Republicans ALSO BELIEVE that more people voting is better, more “fair”, more “democratic” (which it is), and therefore should not be opposed on principle, at the root.
So when mail-in voting creates a blue wave (whether by cheating OR by its nature), Republicans are reduced to nitpicking - they “changed the rules without permission”, they “counted illegal votes”, etc. But in the eyes of the Democrats, “no vote is illegal” if it promotes and grows “democracy”.
The problem is democracy. Republicans should fight to defend and expand THEIR namesake - republicanism - but they don’t, and they won’t, because they can’t - they too believe in “democracy” conferring the right to rule.
You can’t beat democrats without beating the idea of democracy.
McConnell conspired with the Media-Dem Party to oust Trump, what did he expect them to do once they seized power?
Mitch, you really are as stupid as you look.
You enjoyed it when these tactics got rid of Trump, so what’s the problem?
Yes, he can — and corrupt. Trump was ruining Mitch’s Chinese sweet deal.
Wouldn’t it be nice if Republicans had any foresight, intellect, or nutz!
That’s a trick question, isn’t it?
Too bad there wasn’t some chance for ole Mitch to stop election fraud, oh, like a recent election where fraud was rampant. Yeah, too bad.
This POS “turtle” aided and abetted in the total destruction of our elections process. There is plenty of blood on his hands!!
You're a moron, jerk.
It’s his new approach to convince us to vote GOP.
100% agree.
They’re no different than the rats in the end.
At least you have your state politics. In Georgia! we have inept (Kemp) and feckless (Ratburger).
Not much to support if they make it out of the primaries.
Who woke him up?
STFU, Mitch.
Fait Acompli
Goodness.ITS MAIL ON BALLOTS.
IN
That's OK, we'll vote them out in 22 /s
