A white Georgetown Law professor belittled black students during a Zoom call with a colleague, saying they “usually” perform “just plain at the bottom” of her classes, according to video posted online this week.
The brief clip, posted to Twitter Wednesday, shows an adjunct professor of law identified by the Georgetown Black Law Students Association as Sandra Sellers and another faculty member, David Batson, having what they believed was a private discussion about a class they jointly taught...
“We demand nothing short of the immediate termination of Sandra Sellers as adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center,” the group said in a statement. “Not suspension. Not an investigation. The university must take swift and definitive action in the face of blatant and shameless racism.” The revealing clip shows the “conscious and unconscious bias” in grading at Georgetown Law and in other law school classrooms across the country, the group claims.

For what it is worth, when I was in law school 40 years ago, each course had only one exam -- a final -- and that was our grade for the course. There could not have been racial bias in the grading process because the exams were graded blindly in that the professor did not know the identity of the student whose exam they were grading.
My law school class was ~ 8% to 10% black the first year, and less than 5% black at graduation. With the exception of one very smart student and one brilliant student, I don't recall any black students who graduated anywhere near the top of the class and most were near the bottom, if they even made the cut after their first year -- not because they were stupid -- but because they were not prepared for the intense rigors of law school. At my law school (and at most law schools), the core, required classes were graded on a curve. As smart as the black students may have been, they performed below the non-white students, which is why many graduated near the bottom of the class, if they graduated at all. That's not racial bias; its a fact.
Unlike the TV show, in today’s joke universities, the truth will NOT set you free.
Is what she said wrong?!?!
If indeed black students generally are at the bottom of her class, that’s not a racist statement it’s an honest observation.
Did no one ever tell her that freedom of speech is dead in the USA?
Oh yes it will!.....................
Yea, the truth will lead to calamity in the modern universityi.
Her assessment of what was observed or lie? So many choices. 😕
Well, is it true, or not true?
The revealing clip shows the “conscious and unconscious bias”
Facts don’t have bias.
The brief clip, posted to Twitter Wednesday...
Regardless of the truth or untruth of what she said, it seems like someone set the lady prof up. We have become the 2021 version of the DDR.
Yep, and I bet you she is not a racist celebrating the fact she observed, but most likely a leftie who was lamenting the fact that reality is not matching up with her hopes.
Still, to even acknowledge reality is a thoughtcrime.

Democrat vice-presidential (then the nominee) Kamala Harris is named as a key contact in Hunter Biden's emails during a discussion about a shady foreign business deal with a Chinese Communist Party-linked energy company. The email is from a laptop belonging to former Vice President Joe Biden's son, Hunter, that was leaked before the election. (Excerpt) Read more at nnettle.com ...

FactCheckers dispute that!
When a child is not challenged, not expected to excel, and faces the soft bigotry of lowered expectations, this is what you get.
Considering that they both had bar exam difficulties, Mooch Obama and Kamala H. were very likely near the bottom of their law school classes, I’d be willing to wager. Any takers on the opposite side of that bet?
“...the core, required classes were graded on a curve.”
“There could not have been racial bias in the grading process because the exams were graded blindly”
So? Blind auditions for orchestras were deemed racist when the officially desired results were not achieved.
But see, if there is an expectation that some answers are correct while others are incorrect, then the test itself is racist.
In a test that protects the “equality & diversity” of the examined, then all answers are acceptable. THAT is where we are today.
2 +2 = 4?
Of course it doesn’t, you racist. That answer only protects and amplifies the white-centric patriarchy.
My God, that guy was right on target wasn’t he, amazing, and that book - 1984 - was written in the 1940s where you would think it couldn’t happen after all the crap with the Nazis, but here we are. I got to read that book again.
