A key difference in DeSantis’ approach to caring for his state’s senior population was to halt all outside visitations to nursing homes by showering them with personal protective equipment (PPE). He also set up 23 COVID-dedicated nursing centers for elderly patients that were discharged from hospitals, as opposed to sending them back to regular nursing homes to intermix with non-positive residents.
“Nursing-home residents who tested positive and couldn’t be isolated in their facilities were sent to these COVID-only wards,” the Journal piece further explains. “Florida set up field hospitals to handle a surge in cases that models predicted in the spring, although it never materialized. “At the same time that DeSantis was doing this, Cuomo and New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy were forcibly stuffing COVID-positive seniors in with -negative seniors at area nursing homes, resulting in a surge of elderly deaths that is simply inexcusable.
Worse yet is the fact that an investigation by New York Attorney General Letitia James revealed that the state’s COVID-related nursing home deaths were actually 50 percent higher than what was officially reported because the Cuomo regime actively hid data from the public as a cover.“Those models about hospital overcrowding never even came close to bearing out, even in New York,” DeSantis is quoted as saying about the media fear-mongering last spring and summer. “Some of those policies that were done in these other states, they really were motivated by those models. And those models did do a lot of damage.”
Florida is doing just fine being open and mask-less, by the way. The numbers are down, especially since PCR tests were recalibrated across the board immediately following Beijing Biden’s installation into the White House.

(Natural News) The Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) is ravaging the Cottonwoods Care Center in British Columbia (BC), Canada, after both patients and staff members at the facility were mass vaccinated for the alleged disease.
Reports indicate that many at Cottonwoods are now falling seriously ill or dying due to the jabs, which the government and mainstream media continue to claim will “cure” the plandemic if only everyone would agree to get one.Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry admitted during a press conference about the outbreak that getting stabbed for the Chinese virus does not actually do anything beneficial, and is actually just for show or for virtue signaling bragging rights.According to Henry, two staff members and 10 residents tested “positive” for the Wuhan flu after getting vaccinated. Some of these cases occurred in people who had received both doses of the messenger RNA (mRNA) experimental gene therapy injection from Pfizer and BioNTech.
“You can have transmission even when people are fully vaccinated,” Henry told reporters. “The illness seems to be milder and doesn’t transmit as much [and we] won’t see rapid explosive outbreaks.”As it turns out, the exact opposite of what Henry claims occurred at Cottonwoods, where those who took the injections suffered horrific adverse events, including death. Meanwhile, the rest of BC, much of which has not been vaccinated, would seem to be doing just fine.
At the end of the month, Henry says, the province will offer a new public health guidance that allows for increased visitation at long-term care facilities such as Cottonwoods.
Henry, as you may recall, announced the BC’s first known case of the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) last February. An area resident in his 40s tested “positive,” and afterwards agreed to voluntarily self-isolate.

The article begins with a deceptive photo of children returning to school in California. Yet school openings aren’t even mentioned until the last 2 paragraphs.
Unemployment isn’t mentioned until over half way. Nothing about Florida’s large elderly population, who benefited handsomely from Ron DeSantis order for nursing homes NOT to take Covid carriers. Nothing about California’s staggering increase in drug overdose deaths. Nothing about Florida’s population inflow during the pandemic. Nothing about California’s population outflow.
California’s revenue is highly dependent on taxes from tech zillionaires, who profited handsomely from the NASDAQ roaring back since mid-March. This one time gain helped immensely California tax revenues in 2020.
