I have a family member that states the reactions to the second
Moderna vaccine shot, is more severe than the first.

Stories like this are what caused me some concern. Then you
have to take into consideration how many doses have been given
and how many actual terrible reaction have taken place.

My impression is that the percentage is very low.

Plan on taking a sick day 24 hrs after taking the Moderna second dose. If you don’t use it, you will be the exception. Most do not report having much problem with the first dose.

I’ve heard the same thing; some folks are out of action for a couple of days. My wife just got her second dose of the Pfizer vaccine yesterday, and I got my first one today. She had some of the “standard” side effects from the initial dose (headache, slight fever, pain in the arm where she received the injection), but quickly recovered. So, far, I’m not experiencing any side effects, but it’s been only been six hours since I got the shot.

Hope my experiences with the second dose mirror those of my wife. She is 70; I’m a bit younger, so we decided taking the vaccine made sense for us. Our adult daughter and granddaughter have elected to take a pass, and for them, it makes perfect sense. Heard on the news today that Alaska has dropped the age to 16 to receive the vaccine and you don’t need a pre-existing condition to qualify. That tells me a lot of healthy people have already had the illness, don’t trust the vaccine and over-supply is becoming a problem.

I got the Moderna vaccine because I work in a Hospital. And my wife was after me to get it.

That’s all.

I don’t have the least bit of fear about this bug.

I am in my mid-sixties with a few comorbidities, and didn’t have any problems with either injection.

If someone tells me they don’t want it, I fully support them in their decision. I abhor the government mandates surrounding this. I view it as a Constitutional individual rights issue.

Allergic reactions are very low. Long-term side effects are not known. Big difference

Relax.

I have had both Moderna shots and zero problems.
