I’ve heard the same thing; some folks are out of action for a couple of days. My wife just got her second dose of the Pfizer vaccine yesterday, and I got my first one today. She had some of the “standard” side effects from the initial dose (headache, slight fever, pain in the arm where she received the injection), but quickly recovered. So, far, I’m not experiencing any side effects, but it’s been only been six hours since I got the shot.
Hope my experiences with the second dose mirror those of my wife. She is 70; I’m a bit younger, so we decided taking the vaccine made sense for us. Our adult daughter and granddaughter have elected to take a pass, and for them, it makes perfect sense. Heard on the news today that Alaska has dropped the age to 16 to receive the vaccine and you don’t need a pre-existing condition to qualify. That tells me a lot of healthy people have already had the illness, don’t trust the vaccine and over-supply is becoming a problem.
So why did you get the vaccine?

No, I was an ignorant young private when I started, then I turned into a seasoned soldier that good officers took a shining to heh.
I fought a lot, fought so much that I ended up being the unarmed combat instructor too lol. I couldn’t stand the infantry bullies going out on a weekend and picking fights with civvies, so I used to smack em around and ask them if it was as fun for them as it was for me. I guess I’ve always been a bit confrontational, but if one isn’t then the enemy gets to run around unchecked.
There are legitimate arguments both pro and con. I tend to side with those who think that a healthy person under the age of 50 has such an insignificant risk from the virus that it is not worth being vaccinated.
Medical doctors will tell you that for any given action on the human body there are a number of people who will have a very adverse reaction. I saw some adverse reactions to vaccination day in the military.
This was understood from the outset of Operation Warp Speed and it was the main reason that manufacturers were given immunity from lawsuits for the emergency usage.
Sadly, it appears our elected leaders continue to cling to the one-sized fits all approach that prioritizes some groups over others with little thought to age and health condition.
I am happy that my parents received the vaccine. They are high risk.
I am waiting for the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. I am at lower risk.
My kids will NOT receive these vaccines and they can decide for themselves when they are adults.
With that being said, what is pissing me off more than anything is that we appear to be headed towards a Covid passport system where you have to be vaccinated for some travel or admission.
What I wrote above is rational and based on a fair assessment of risks vs reward. Our elected leaders have chosen the “one-sized fits all” approach for their own reasons.
I am surprised she was given the vaccine at 39 most states are not giving anyone the vaccine under the age of 60!! It doesn’t say she was a nurse or such!!!
Why would you take anything pushed by lying fraudsters? We’ve been lied to this entire time.
Vaccine = good.
Don’t question it.
America is one fad/trend after the next and there is ALWAYS a label that gets slapped on the forehead of those that disagree or ask questions.
Today we even have outright censorship.
The problem with that is of course that people are being herded and not provided with the true factual information surrounding the decisions they are supposedly making on their own free will.
The other issue is that no one is culpable.
She was gorgeous. I lived in UT for many years and can attest that utah women are among the most beautiful anywhere.
Yes, anorexia, something related to breast implants, something related to hair dye, or something related to tanning. Maybe a combination of these.

Sadly Dr Simone Gold is discredited and then organization AFLD is pure quackery and not at all anything but an attempt at 15 minutes or fame. Look at the so called leaders of this groups and get back to me.
that’s great..until you happen to have a bad reaction to a vaccine..which has happened to me with a “safe” vaccine. Now I have to go through the process of figuring out if it is safe to even get the Shingles shot. I am a long way from figuring that one out. I know no one will be able to answer whether it is or not and I will have to assess the risk versus reward and make a decision.
I certainly am not going to get it until I have much further work done..which may mean I have to use Directlabs to order more intricate test results.
Did you know the immune system has nothing to do with psoriasis. Yeah, I was told that by a medical professional last year with a Medical Degree. I knew at that point it was time to move on.
