The Biden administration can finally ship large quantities of coronavirus shots into the American heartland, where health officials are encountering a reservoir of vaccine skepticism among rural Americans who’ve adopted former President Donald Trump’s denial of a virus battering their communities.
If a critical mass of people don’t accept Covid-19 vaccines, the country won’t achieve “herd immunity.” When there was just a trickle of vaccines, hesitancy didn’t matter as much because plenty of people were clamoring for the scarce shots. Now that the supply is ramping up, the challenge is to overcome fear, distrust and outright antagonism to the new vaccines shared by some groups in large numbers. That’s the path to save lives, slow the emergence of new virus variants, end the stress on the health care system and restore the economy.
“We’ve got fairly good trust — but there’s a block of the community, or the population, who thinks that this is a hoax, that it’s to exert control to limit people’s freedom,” said Mike Holmes, who for over 40 years has been CEO of Scenic Rivers Health Services in one of the most rural regions of Minnesota. “That’s a hard group to convince.”

Also, it was President Trump's singular achievement to get the vaccine as quickly as it was readied for us. Large quantities starting shipping while Ole Creepy Joe was still in his Delaware basement!

Biden and Harris and the rest of the Media-Dem Party spent over 6 months spreading distrust in any vaccine developed under Trump. They even tried to make it sound like Trump was whipp[ing up the vaccine in the White House basement using his old Gilbert Chemistry Set.
Maybe they are smart and actually know, understand and are following The Science?
A year ago it was Democrat polticians on the West and East Coasts encouraging people to go into crowds in Chinatown and hug strangers to celebrate Chinese New Year and downplay President Trump’s concerns over the new virus.

I believe herd immunity can be achieved at 33% vaccination. I would NOT get a vaccination if I knew for certain that I’d had Covid already.

When asked if I got my shots and I say no, I get shocked looks from some people. They have been thoroughly brain washed that catching Covid is a death sentence. I expect that some mandatory or coercive measures are coming next.

What is most dangerous about this is the fact that the government would set a precedent to mandate your behavior in something like this.
Looking at that picture reminds me that there are some things for which we will never have a vaccine for.
I would say the ugly stick would continue to harvest its victims, but in her case, it is leftist idiocy, and there will never be a vaccine against that either.
I think that they are going to next stat imposing restrictions on what you can do if you are not vaccinated such as you can’t fly unless you can prove you are vaccinated. Eventually it will get to checkpoints on roadways were you have to “show your papers”.
Still an individual choice.

Much of the information has been scrubbed from the internet, but a search for information about the shingles vaccines is not good. Merck is fighting multiple lawsuits for its shingles vaccine.
