Whatever reform they try to pass will be reversed by the Senate in 2023 or 2025. They can do a lot of damage in the next two years, especially with election laws.

Democrats will repeal any changes they make to fillibustering when they find themselves voted out in a subsequent election. There is still time between election day and the date a new Senate is sworn in to repeal their changes.
That IS how Democrats play this game.
