PHOENIX - A man is dead after being shot by a gas station clerk in Phoenix.
Phoenix police say the shooting happened just after 11 p.m. on March 1 at a Chevron station near 44th Street and McDowell Road.
Investigators say a man threatened to harm customers and when the clerk tried to intervene, the man armed himself with a baton and attacked the clerk who then shot him.
The man was taken to a hospital in critical condition where he was pronounced dead. He was identified by police as 35-year old Andrew Agnew.
The clerk stayed at the scene following the shooting and the investigation is ongoing.
One less democrat in the world.
“Andrew Agnew” - that’s a good Irish name .. /s
That’s far enough east on McDowell that I doubt it’s a bad neighborhood. McDowell is close to the 202 that a getaway would be fast.
Naah, he’ll vote Dem the next several election cycles.
PHOENIX HUH? Little L. A.! Well there is a clerk that will be looking for a job after he gets out of jail.
Wow! That’s right across the street from my former home away from home, the former Embassy Suites, now Holiday Inn — very nice place.
Don’t you love a happy ending?
Shooter deserves a medal and commendation from State and Fed government.
” threatened to harm customers” “ the man armed himself with a baton and attacked the clerk “
The shooting was justified. No further investigation is needed. Contrary to what the newspaper wants us to think, we have an absolute right to defend ourselves against an unjust aggressor, and that right didn’t come from the government, and can’t be taken away by the government.
Yeah, but he will still be voting in future elections.
The actor, Andrew Agnew..??
“The man was taken to a hospital in critical condition where he was pronounced dead.”
It don’t get any more critical than that.
It's still not great. High-priced hipster-land Arcadia is a couple of miles north, but the transition to pseudo-ghetto south of Thomas is rather stark.
Like most poorly-run American cities, there are suddenly a lot of mentally ill homeless shambling around everywhere in Phoenix - a problem that was far less pronounced when Joe Arpaio was Sheriff instead of Soros's hand-picked replacement. At least store clerks here in Arizona are still allowed to take out the trash when necessary.

I worked for both of them. Retired 080120. Moving out of the valley and to the northeast. The home I bought is close to the Trump store.
The Soros sycophant destroyed the Office.
Agnew is Greek, I believe.
“The man was taken to a hospital in critical condition where he was pronounced dead.”
Critical, but stable.
I don’t know the area very well. However, I see there’s a Food City on the corner. That’s usually not a very good sign.
I go to downtown Phoenix maybe once a year - and that's more than enough. But I'm in downtown Scottsdale almost every single day, since that's the real heart of Valley commerce. :)
Thankfully, Scottsdale voters were smart enough to turn down the light rail extension...but the Left will eventually bring it back for another vote. They never give up.
